The rack was easy to assemble and has a solid build. I was able to organize all my equipment in it without any trouble. It fits well in my closet, out of the way, so I’ve been able to keep my network organized and hidden from view. I’m considering getting another one for my shop since I keep it separate from my house.

As others have stated this rack is a mess! I was really excited about this as I already have a full size server rack in my office and wanted to have this for out in the garage to store some networking and other IT equipment I have as my primary rack is getting pretty tight. To my disappointment this thing is not built correctly at all. It looks nice, is made of decent feeling metal, but all of the mounting holes are completely wrong. It is like someone wanted to make a rack but did zero research on how to properly implement this into a product. This is a major let down and I do not recommend it as it will not work with any rack mount equipment and it is incredibly overpriced for a misaligned metal chassis.

I totally thought this said 10" rack, not 10U rack! I was expecting a tiny, desktop sized rack but NOOOOO.This monster was sitting on the front porch, and is super heavy duty steel. I love these racks, and instead of returning it, I am just going to load it up with data backups and run another drop to the garage, where it will live.

It's sturdy but absolutely does not qualify for 10U and will not fit 19" network equipment as the title indicates. The 19" rack unit, or 1U, equals units of 1.75" with vertical whole spacing sequence of 0.625", 0.625", 0.5". This unit has vertical hole spacing of 0.672". The store page lies (or is so completely misleading as to amount to a lie) when it uses 10U to mean that it is 17.5" high. 10U doesn't ONLY mean the total height. The mounting hole centers should be 0.625" horizontally from the inside vertical edge of the rail. And there should be 18.5 inches horizontally between the holes in the left and right rails. This unit has holes that are 0.665" from the inner edge and a horizontal hole spacing of 17.5".The ad claims versatility. That claim is entirely unsupported as no standard 19" rack equipment, or any equipment that is a standard 1U, 2U, 4U, etc. form factor will fit and mount into this equipment rack. There is no way that this opem frame rack mount system will not mount any standard rack unit equipment.Lastly, the black paint or powder coating is not well attached. There are several places that were already chipped when I unboxed it.At $160 it's a total waste of money. I wouldn't eay more than $50 for it.

BOTTOM LINE:1. I do not recommend this Vhelyom-10U Open Frame Network Rack for IT Gear.2. The current price of ~$120 is much too high.LIKES:- Floor standing.- Strong and good quality.- Shelves are strong and hold a lot of weight.DISLIKES:- Non standard, as in my rack equipment can't be used. Still can use for other things.

The Vhelyom 10U Open Frame Network Rack has its strengths but ultimately I cannot recommend it. The most significant issue is the incorrect hole spacing, which makes it incompatible with standard rack-mount hardware, despite the product being marketed for this purpose. That said, there are a couple of positive aspects. The rack is heavy-duty and feels very solid, capable of handling heavy loads without issue. The included shelves, while lacking rear supports, are surprisingly robust and sturdy, which adds some utility to the product.Unfortunately, the lack of compatibility with standard hardware makes it less practical than expected. I’d rate this two stars, one for its durable construction and another for the strong shelves, but overall, it doesn't meet the expectations for a functional network rack.
