We are VERY disappointed with this umbrella. Looks great but nearly impossible to fold and unfold without having to adjust the braces and fabric each time it opens. We would NOT buy again

10' X 13' this is a very large umbrella. It has a few settings from level to tilted (see photos) my wife and I really like it and the price is hard to beat. The stand it comes with is not weighted so I bought the MONDAWE branded base 0n Amazon and filled it with water. It stands up to 10~13 mph winds LEVEL with this based filled with water. Level setting catches less wind. Tilted all the way it becomes a huge sail so if we get some wind up it goes to level. Easy and quick to do with the hand crank level setting feature. Squeeze the handle and move it up or down. Easy and quick. Overall a great buy and glad we bought it. A weighted base is a must-have with this umbrella. Umbrella comes with a cover and cover installing pole which makes it easy to put the cover on. The hand crank seems solid as does the main support pole. Easy to put up and down even for the wife to do. A velcro strap holds it together when down. The cover fits well and as seen in the pic comes with a fiberglass pole to assist putting the cover on and off. You can see it in the pic (white pole) It comes with everything EXCEPT THE WEIGHTED BASE. It does have a cross member base with zero weight that comes with it. You could bolt this umbrella directly onto a wooden deck or drill your concrete and bolt it down like that with no base, but we move ours around as the sun changes position from spring to fall so we needed the accessory weighted base we can move. Glad we bought it and would recommend / buy it again.

I bought this to replace a 'center pole' umbrella for my deck table, which was sturdy, but in heavy winds would shift the table around, fall sideways and stripped the thread on the pole which screwed into the base.I bought the 250lb base recommended for it, filled it with sand, and the umbrella's been mostly sturdy. The wife likes it, 'cos it doesn't get in the way of the table. I like it, because it doesn't shift the table around and with the sand vs water in it, it's been solid through some storms.I'm knocking off 1 star though because it *is* a bit floppy around the top. It sways and the cantilevered arm *looks* kind of flimsy and like it might bend / come loose after some time, even in very *very* light wind scenarios.

It's easy to put together, though helpful to have 2nd person assist. Quite sturdy but I did bolt it to my wood deck for extra security, and believe that was needed in the long run. Very attractive umbrella. The rotation and tilt functions are very handy. Actually, they're awesome. LOL. No outside umbrella is going to be 100% in keeping the shaded area where you may want it, but this was at least provides options using the rotate/tilt function as the sun crosses the sky. Would absolutely buy this again.

I really like my patio umbrella, IT IS HUGE! and covers my patio set (see pic). It is versatile and adjusts to the side as seen in pic. You can angle it 45 - 90 degrees and it swivels! There is a vent at the top of the umbrella which feels great when there is a breeze. The color matched perfectly. Directions were not that clear - we found out the umbrella swivels by chance. If it is breezy outside the umbrella sways a bit but nothing that will topple over. There is a pedal at the base. You need a base for it - I bought separately-220 lb that you fill with sand and water. Great value for the money - recommend it!
