Nowhere near as good looking as a regular galvanized steel hub, but the rough surface makes it easy to paint. Very lightweight and cheap feeling. Even the threads are jagged. For it to only be a few dollars less than a better and more compatible product (don't want to use this with regular steel conduit and meter boxes due to galvanic corrosion) is kind of weird. Even for aluminum meter boxes this rough, matte finish stands out from the shiny, polished aluminum.
