This fits my daughter well. She is 12 years old. Unfortunately, the colored fabric that covers the outside of it tore on one of the eyes almost immediately. For this reason, I can't think it will last super long. It does the job of protection and feels comfortable so far. So it does work, but it was disappointing for it to tear so quickly in one area.

I own multiple archery arm guards which I’ve purchased over the years. This is by far that best in terms of arm coverage, fit and ventilation, and materials used. Some of my old guards use a hard leather that makes a lot of noise when slapped by a string. Most of my other arm guard are relatively small which means much care much be taken in placing them on your arm for protection. None of my other arms are ventilated. This armguard is huge, but not oversized. It should fit most arms. Because the material which is like felt on the bottom and a strong woven poly fiber on top, the entire arm guard is flexible. If get this for a young growing archer, this guard can go over the elbow joint and flex and as your archer grows, it will still fit for them. There are many attaching elastic straps to hold this long arm guard in place. The straps use a convenient press to open plastic “latch”. The thickness of the arm guard is adequate to provide protection. Maybe there is an issue if you are shooting a 65 lbs or greater recurve bow and slap your forearms. I don't shoot that heavy in recurve. This arm guard doesn’t mention it but, my guess is that this is washable. A good buy.

I am 6’ 4” tall and the large covered all of the area on my forearm between my wrist and my elbow joint. Since my height is likely two deviations from the mean for men, I conclude that it would be too large for most of the population. Modification is possible by using gluing the stitching at the second strap set from the concave short end and scissor away some material (adding some stitching to secure the material layers on the new end would be welcomed). As it stands, the large is only suitable for basketball available height outliers. There is an unfortunate decorate detail on the second strap point from the straight end: the two cut outs are too close to the center in my opinion and causes a flap of material which will likely strike the bow string. The only cure I can thing for that error is to stitch in some material to reinforce the area. The guard is made of a layer of ballistic nylon over two layers of low quality leather (or vegan leather). Durability is subjective and likely proportional to skill level and bow poundage.I found it relatively easy to put on. The guard would make an excellent class study in design on how basic decisions can affect the outcome for a product.

An arm guard is a good thing to have when shooting bow and arrow. Professionals use them and as an instructor I highly recommend them. Securing the Moyujian guard was easy using the slide in clasps. This guard covered the majority of my forearm area, providing protection from string burn. This could easily be worn as a lefty or righty and was sized for an adult or teen. While it was easily applied and the fit adjusted, it kept moving whenever I bent my arm, requiring adjustments with each shot. After shooting with the guard, I noted the material not sown at the edges would raise and this left me with doubts concerning the longevity of the product. The Arm Guard is made of 3 layers of soft materials sewn only on the inside of the pattern. The edge area is only sewn together where the elastic band and clasps are. This raises a concern on longevity, especially in washing the guard, which should be done periodically. I do not know if an adhesive was used to keep the layers secured. But I feel like the material may puff apart. If the layers were glued, this would lessen any concern from washing. In any matter, the guard should be hand washed. Given the price, I would easily buy a couple now, saving the others as replacement when I felt the one in use had worn out.

At first I thought it was too floppy to be much good, but after a couple of tests with the 25lb recurve, I decided to take a chance with the 80lb compound and an intentionally lousy hold. I can't say it didn't sting at all, but it absorbed way more than I expected, and the end result was less painful than the 25lb bowstring on a bare arm.It is pretty long, covering me from the inside of my elbow all the way to my wrist, which is handy when using different bows that can slap in different places. If you're under six feet and don't have gorilla arms, you might find the longest size a bit too long to get used to, though.

Nice arm guard fits pretty well on my right arm. It is very light weight and I can roll it up easily to keep in my bow case ready for when I want to practice. I generally do not get burnt by a bow string since I rotate my should to prevent contact but this is a nice item to have on those days which I occasionally forget such tactics. No I am not a big archer who has fully developed my muscle memory yet to always remember to keep my shoulder properly rotated. I am getting there though.
