I suggest measuring the base of the farm jack before buying. I did and it was a perfect fit for my habor freight jack. It won't sink unless jack is tilted a lot when removing fence posts.

In my opinion, this base is a good idea to have. The area of the farm Jack foot will definitely not be supported by the soil. The only issue I had, was that the base of the farm Jack I bought would not fit into the base slot. Easy fix. I used a piece of wood which I bolted to the Jack, making a snug fit to this base.Works well. A bit pricy … but it works well.

Apparently not all Hi-Lift bases are created equal. Make sure you measure your jack's base to match that of the item's description. My Hi-Lift Xtreme's base measures 7"x 4" and fits this base like a glove (see picture). Overall build quality is solid which I'm confident will do its job well.

It's larger than I thought, worked great for for lifting my trailer in the mud.

It's like half inch too small - not sure if I should try to heat it to expand it or just return it....
