These are horrible. At least 20% of them do not drip because they are filled with glue. The entire inside of the drippers are filled with glue and water cannot get through. And, others fall apart after a few days because they lack any glue. This makes wonder if they really do drip 1/2 gallon per hour. The whole idea behind drip irrigation is so that it can be setup and not need to be checked during every watering cycle. I have to check these every day because if they fall apart the other drippers are starved of water and many do not drip at all because they are filled with glue. Very poor quality control.

Two problems: no way these are 1/2GPH, they’re more like 1/4GPM!! Also, they’re junk! Since install in June-10 have failed! They blow off the top and spray water 20ft into the air! I keep replacing them and they keep failing. I case you’re wondering, YES they are on a pressure regulated rain bird valve specifically designed for micro irrigation

These are 2 gph drip emitters, not 1/2 gph. Should have trusted my instincts about universal color coding. I’ll keep them for future plantings. One star off for false advertising

I am a long time Rain Bird and Rain Drip buyer with no issues I can recall. I thought I would give these a shot. Bad Idea. First off: These are NOT 1/2 GPH, more like 2 GPH. Plus, the few that I installed (where I could use that much water), disintegrated after three weeks. The top separated from the base, making quite a mess since water poured out unimpeded. In the meantime, all my other brand's emitters on this line are doing great. These are truly awful.

Great drip heads for the drip system. I have installed a drip system in my greenhouse and added a timer. The timer is great for this system. These drip heads are good so each plant gets the correct amount of water daily. Easy system to set up with the black tubing and simple to maintain. Virtually maintenance free with no leaks. After some time, some of the drip heads may get clogged. Simply pull off and blow out. Or you can replace them easily with a new drip head. Works great for individual plants and saves water. I couldn't find them at the local Big Box store so I'm happy they are on Amazon. I need three sizes: 2 gallon/minute, 1 gallon/minute and 1/2 gallon/minute. I have them in all my pots. I'm glad I could find these on Amazon. Thank you.

About 20% do not work. meaning, no water exits the device. When the device does work, it as variable on whether it drips as one would expect or it may shoot 2 small streams out of the device which means if they are angled up, they squirt into the air. I would look for a better product with better quality control metrics. Maybe that's why they sell them in lots of 50?
