Packaging they came in was very well constructed to ensure products don't break en route. Nice labels and extra set of rubbers. Easy enough to swing the top off. However, I noticed the seal is not very strong (compared to other flip top bottles I have) and just putting a little pressure on the rubber with my finger releases pressure.Update: Adjusting rating to 3 stars. Second use of the bottles for natural soda fermentation and shaking the bottle to assess the fermentation bubbles, 4 of the 12 bottles no longer hold a tight seal. Bubbles can be seen foaming out from seals

Using the bottles to put fresh home made fruit syrup in. 8 oz. is the perfect size since we bottle 8 oz jam also. The unique bottle design and seal is an attention getter. Very good value for the money.The only down side is it's a bit difficult to put in boiling water to sanitize with the small neck. Once figured out, it's a breeze.We'll be back for sure.Joe

These 8 oz swing top bottles are exactly what I needed for my homemade limoncello! The quality is excellent, with a secure airtight seal that keeps everything fresh. They look beautiful for gifting and are a great value for a 12-pack. Highly recommend for any home brewing or DIY drink project!

Love these 8 oz Swing Top Glass Bottles for my homemade kefir brewing. They are the perfect size for the carbonation phase. The packaging on these bottles was top notch with no broken bottles. I kept the foam shipping packaging for drying my washed bottles from one batch to the next. I don’t usually review products unless they are exceptional. Since I’m repurchasing those’d bottles again today, I decided to leave my “very happy with this project review”.If you haven’t tried kefir water for the probiotic benefits, you should look into it. Absolutely amazing probiotic beverage - fruity flavor with a ginger ale type carbonation.Water Kefir Tips: I do a 3 stage Water Kefir ferment in quart sized jars. First 2 stages are in the quart sized jars. Blueberries for the second fermentation are my favorite. Also, adding a Tbls of cane sugar to fruit batch adds to the carbonate. The kefir “eats” the sugar which leads to a nearly sugar free beverage. I’ve experimented with Monk sugar to give the beverage a natural sugar free, flavor for my final ferment stage when it goes into these 8 oz Swing Top Glass Bottles.

These bottles are fantastic! They are well packed. They are heavy duty sturdy bottles. They came with spare gaskets.I will be purchasing more.
