I bought this for one purpose. I am brewing kombucha, and I can use these bottles to do the second step in the kombucha making process. The flip tops are good at sealing the bottle so that carbonation can develop. It came with a funnel which is super important because I use a gallon glass jar to brew the entire kombucha and before I put them in these individual bottles. They do come with labels but that seems like too much work especially because you're going to be washing these bottles every time.

The glass seems thick and sturdy and doesn’t have any visual defects. Very well packed and arrived undamaged.Swing top opens and closes as expected and keeps good amount of downforce on the silicone seal.Haven’t fermented (carbonated) anything in these yet, but did test for water tightness and there were no leaks. I’ve used swing tops for things like vanilla and maple syrup, but not for anything that builds pressure. My beer bottling has all been with traditional bottle caps. I plan to use these bottle for kombucha. Seems to me the swing top should perform as well as a regular crimped on bottle cap.

This is a bundle of ten bottles, a collapsible funnel, ten sticker labels, and a white marker. The bottles are made of thick, dark amber glass and have integrated resealable caps. They have a maximum capacity of around 540 ml or 18.2 ounces. This is perfect for home brewed beer because you need to have a little bit of head space for bottle conditioning, so the extra space allows you to have a full 16 ounces of beer.

I grew up with beer bottles look like this. That was a time in the old country where you bought a case with 20 bottles of beer in these type of bottles. Once the beer went down the throat, the empty bottle went back into the crate and when all 20 were empty you took the crate to the store and replace it with a new one with full bottles. Imagine that - no waste!The bottles are good for all kinds of fermentation products. They will be mostly used for kombutcha.

These are perfect for home brewing. The flip tops seal; tightly and eliminate the need for bottle caps. They are brown to protect the contents from light. They also come with a collapsible funnel as well as labels and a marker. We are going to use them for the Mead we are making. These are perfect for my homemade cider and kefir water. The dark amber glass keeps the cider from darkening and I love how tightly the flip tops seal to keep the carbonation in. I also appreicate that they are not too tall so they fit in my fridge without having to adjust the shelves. The price is about average for this kind of bottle, especially considering you get 10 instead of just 8. They arrived well-packed in double bubble wrap with dividers between so not one was cracked or broken.

Got these to store the variety of homemade tinctures and syrups that we do with various wild fruit and berries. The size is ideal for the batches that I make. Not too many bottles used for each batch, but not so big that I'm worried about it spoiling before getting through it. The dark glass helps to keep the extracts/tinctures from going bad. The included labels and marker make it easy to keep track of what is in each bottle. I filled one and gave to several good shakes and no leaks. Good price for the set. Like that the set included a collapsible funnel.
