These worked so much better than I thought they could - they don't look like they could hold much as they don't have those big heavy weights on top to hold them down, but we filled our stockings to the brim with heavy items and had no issues and no scratches. A well made product!

I have 21 stockings to hang in my house. I have a open second floor banister and decided to hang the stocking there this year. Well to my surprise the held the up with no problem and even after I filled the all stocking to the brim, no problem. Love these and highly recommend.

These are nice for holding stockings, or anything off of any type of shelf. The angled top allows the weight of the item to keep it up. It's got slip resistant padding. They are made of good quality and should hold the weight of a full stocking beautifully.

My family of 6 (counting the dogs lol) has matching stockings that are made of a heavy fabric. And then of course we fill them with presents, so eventually these are some HEFTY stockings. I was VERY skeptical that stocking holders of this style would actually hold up our stockings without issue when full. But they TOTALLY DID IT! No problem at all. Our mantle is kind of a very smooth - to the point of being almost slippery - wood. So there's almost no traction for these stocking holders to grab onto, but that didn't bother them at all. They stayed put! Must just be a good design and the right material. And, they look nice :-) I'm glad I didn't resort to paying a fortune for super expensive stocking holders, thinking that's necessary to get heavy duty strength. No need! These are a great price and they did a great job.

I was nervous because my stockings were really big, and with all the things I put inside, they were heavy. However, they didn't slip and stayed in place.
