My 2005 Chevy Suburban suddenly had the oil pressure drop. I changed the oil pressure sender unit but that didn't help. Then it was probably the oil pick up seal leaking. If not that then it would be the oil pump itself.Knowing I needed a new oil pick tube oil ring, I ordered this set from Amazon. It took a few hours to get the oil pan removed and then the pickup tube was easy. When the package was delivered, I took the original O-ring off the tube and compared it to those delivered. The original was all flattened around the outer edge but still was much thicker than the green new O-ring...considerably so. These new ones were the correct inner diameter but not as thick around the ring. Now these new rings might work but being less thick, I figure they wouldn't be as tight in the hole. So I'm not saying these O-rings won't work, I just didn't want to spend another six or eight hours having to change it if it didn't. I ordered a MAHLE B32790 and put that in. Worked perfectly.Since that little O-ring could cause an engine to seize up, I didn't want to take the chance.
