Purchase this for a granddaughter as a gift. She's a talented 9-year-old who wants to be a YouTube celebrity. We didn't want to go super expensive knowing that she could change her mind in 24 hours. However the function of the lights are very simple, they are sturdy and we don't worry about her tipping it over, and they fit in a perfect location of her room that she is created a small little YouTube studio.

As I enter content creation this is a tool that I'm learning to use. This was easy to set up and the lighting is great and I love the dimmable feature and customized light settings. The colors are fun and vibrant. I love that i can use this with my phone. Great product. Excellent value for the money. The remote is great to have for control and quick changes.

This is a great beginner ring light, it comes with everything to get you started with fun lighting effects. Very easy to assemble, there wasn't any instructions on how to put everything together so you have to look at everything and then you get the idea on how things are supposed to go together.Once put together, including your phone in the center holder, this ring light is too top heavy to stand on its own. The legs of the stand spread out too far and collapse or fall over knocking over your light. I ended up having to use several rubber pads to hold the legs closer together to get it to somewhat stand on its on but still it ended up falling over. Once I removed my phone it had a better chance but what good is it if it cannot withstand the weight of your phone?The light effects are really nice, all controlled by a little remote section on the cord so this is hands on controlled lighting, it goes through all the colors you can think of including a white light, warm light, and a cool light if you want normal light. Everything is dimmable or can be brighter, some of the color lights have different effects of fading, flashing, and moving in a circular move. So again a great starter ring light if you can get the stand to actually stand on its own.I personally will look else where for a ring light stand that can actually stand and hold its own weight including my phone.
