Decent for the price. I did have to turn it a little sideways because it came up a little on the bottom of the camera of my s25 ultra. Multiple lighting settings and tripod mountable made it a great piece for the price.

Everything works as advertises. This snaps right on via MagSafe. I am using it with a Pixel 8 that has a magnetic case, and I have no issues with it. The bluetooth works fine, although I don't find myself using it. The light is great for close-up photos. It does have a tripod mount as well, but the light is only bright enough for a few feet worth of range - that said, you can still use it as a camera just the light won't make a huge difference.

This Magnetic Selfie Ring Light is very easy to use. If your phone case is not magnetic, a magnet is included to place inside your case so that the light can attach. My case is has a magnetic built in, so I used that in my review.I tested this with my Samsung Galaxy 24 Ultra. The Ultra is the largest model in any of the individual Galaxy series. Many times, it can be awkward to use with accessories because of it's large size. This light was comfortable to hold with the Ultra. The surface of the light is smooth and feels quality built. It throws a lot of light for such a compact light.I removed one star because I couldn't use it for "selfies" in the traditional sense. It's to use taking photos of others not as much selfies, unless you are skilled at taking photos with the back camera(s) vs. the front camera.

Attaches securely and allows you to have a steady hand and it feels like a small 35mm camera. Works flawlessly and the flash is quite bright and can be used as a fill light as well.

This is a pretty decent light. Decent light output for subjects under 2' or selfiies. Anything over 2' it's not that great. Design is pretty well thought out and grip is comfortable in hand. The detachable trigger button is very very handy. Magnet is plenty strong and holds the phone with no issues. The only con that i found was that on a couple of occasions i noticed that my iPhone picked up some flicker during video. It's not evident to the naked eye but the camera picked it up during video. It hasn't happened that often and turning it off and back on seemed to solve the problem. Overall, I still think it's a good light, especially for the price, even given the flicker thing.

I bought this, and I am not in the Vine program. I tested this along with the Ulanzi and Kiwifotos versions because it makes taking many photos easier during events and while a tourist. It almost feels like holding an SLR.This one was the best overall. What I liked about this Zealant compared to the others is that it integrates light with the selfie mirror, and the removable Bluetooth shutter button is always charged by the battery. This ensures a much longer battery life for the shutter button, so you don’t have to worry as much about it depleting its charge during use. The selfie mirror is helpful for those larger group selfies.I preferred the larger handgrip of the Ulanzi, but I quickly adjusted to the smaller grip of the Zealant. Having the button located on the front top corner of the grip instead of the top made it feel more natural. I was disappointed with the KiwiPhotos grip; it was large but uncomfortable. Also, the gray plastic looked cheap. The magnet is as strong as or stronger than other brands. I tried shaking my iPhone 15 Pro to simulate reasonable movement, and it remains secure. If I were to redesign the Zealant, I would create a larger handgrip to enhance its ergonomics. I would include a tether for the light and mirror cap. I likely have an old one from my SLR days lying around. Lastly, a cold shoe would be beneficial for additional lighting or sound accessories. The integrated stand function of the Kiwifotos is a cool idea but not necessary. If Zealant makes a version 2, I would test it out.

I'm always on the lookout for a better camera/phone grip and this is an interesting and useful option. While I knocked one star off for middling magnet strength, the unit is strong enough to be used in casual situations where you don't have to worry about an accidental drop. The button is programmable via Bluetooth and it works. The handle is comfortable, though I am left -handed and wish for an option there. The light brightness and temp are easily adjustable, and the selfie-mirror is a good idea. I think it's useful for occasional non-professional use.
