I ordered this product because I plan to do a lot of solid wood tables and thicker slabs. Most of my flush trim bits are smaller/shorter/lighter duty, and I wanted something that would hold up to machining a 2" thick slab. This thing does not disappoint! It produces a good quality cut and is a beast (I run it in a 3 HP router). I like that it has bearings on both the top and bottom, so I can follow a template in a router table or handheld, just by adjusting the bit height.The indexing carbide cutters are great. When the bit gets dull, you can rotate the cutters 90 degrees and go again (3 more times). I've also had success sharpening this type of cutter on diamond sharpeners. The bit holds 8 cutters but comes with 10 extras. That will allow 4 additional tool changes before sharpening or ordering more cutters. It also gives a couple spares in case you drop/lose one, or in the case of damage.
