This is a total piece of junk!!!! Beware and don't waste your time. It's such a rip off that it will cost you money to return it. I sent the guitar back immediately, and still haven't been refunded. Total fraud!

This is the 2nd one I received, as the first came through with the headstock cracked at the neck joint, the switch area on the body cracked, and one knob destroyed. I am not sure where or when it happened, but it did sometime between me getting it and shipping from Ktone. All that said, I am very happy that I asked for a replacement instead of a refund.Ktone was very fast in responding to my request, and I had the replacement within 5 days of asking for it.Thanks Ktone whomever you are. I will recommend your products and services for sure.

I bought this guitar not expecting much out of the box. My expectations were correct. There were some finish flaws, some frets were a little sharp, and the guitar actually got hot when I hooked it up to my amp. Something must have been going on with wiring in the guitar. Like the other reviewer, I also got black hands after playing this guitar despite cleaning the fretboard numerous times. If I were you, I would pass on this guitar and spend a couple hundred more and get a Danelectro 12 string or something similar. If you've got some luthier skills, you might be able to get this guitar to playing nicely. Otherwise, to even make it playable you're going to have to spend at least a $100 at a luthier to get it playing well.

For the price it's okay, thus 3 stars. The body is good, color okay. There was damage to the finish on the headstock by the tuning pegs and elsewhere on the body at various places. Nothing major, but still. Besides those minor flaws there are other major flaws that render it unplayable as delivered.Expect garbage Chinese electronics. Replace the pickups if you expect to play loud with a drummer otherwise it has microphonic feedback. I expected that much in this price range so I budgeted those modifications into my purchase. The really bad part: The frets are terrible. For example, the 11th fret is so high that any notes played from 8th-10th fret are either muted or buzz badly. The sides are rough and sharp so file the fret edges otherwise you'll shred your fingers on them. The strings are awful. I cleaned and wiped them with a towel before playing. After 10 minutes I got two metal splinters and my fingers turned a dark color. Also, the guitar was shipped without volume and tone knobs, all 4 are missing. So if you're looking for a guitar you can play right outside the box then keep looking and pay a little more for it. If you're good with a soldering iron and know how to level a fret board and file frets then this guitar will save you some money.Overall it's okay, if you're willing to do a lot of work to it and don't expect pristine condition. After I complete all the repairs and mods I'm sure it will serve me well as a gigging instrument that I won't be too worried about banging up.
