This reviews ONLY the 120-Watt 18000-Lumen 3000K "warm white" model. Mine has been installed for only three nights so I can't comment on long-term performance or reliability. The housing is flat black, and with the small size of the fixture, it is rather inconspicuous when installed. In fact, it appears sort of dwarfed by the typical mounting arm. The "flat" LED panel with no diffuser provides a specified 120-degree diffusion area - which is better for "focusing" the illumination in an area under the light than for dispersing the illumination around a wider area. The 3000K "warm white" light has only a hint of yellowness - so it doesn't seem especially "warm". The light's design and construction seems to be good, with the following concerns noted:- The heatsink "ribs" on top of the housing don't seem to have any provision for drainage, so it appears that water, snow, ice, and debris can collect in the "cells" that those ribs form, probably affecting their ability to dissipate heat.- The small built-in photocell lens is on the topside of the fixture, where it could be covered by debris, bird droppings, etc. causing the light to turn on during daylight.- For wall-mounted mode, it has a "cover plate" for the area where the wires come out (and presumably where the connections would be protected) but the cover plate has two wire openings with no filler plugs - so the installer must provide a proper closure for whichever opening isn't being used.- For arm-mounted mode, the "cover plate" is omitted because that area fits around the end of the mounting arm. The cable from the light comes out in that same area (through a weather fitting) but with the fixture mounted to the arm, there is little space left to tuck-in the spliced wires. (Typical arm-mounted non-LED fixtures have space up inside the head of the fixture where the spliced wires can be tucked away for protection, but this LED fixture leaves less than 1.5" of space between the end of the arm and the weather fitting - so the only place to tuck-away the spliced wires is inside the arm itself. This is difficult to accomplish - an MAY violate codes in some jurisdictions.- The cover plate (when used) is held in place by two M6 socket-head bolts. If the fixture is mounted on an arm, the cover plate and these two bolts must be removed, and the cover plate is replaced by a mounting strap, which is secured by the two M6 bolts. A 5mm hex driver is required for those bolts - so if you're like me, you'll have to hunt-up a 5mm driver before tackling the installation.- The mounting strap has a peculiar shape where the gripper "teeth" protrude outwards from the sides of the strap rather than upwards (where they would "bite" into the arm). This means the teeth do not really "grab" the arm, so it seems possible that the fixture could more easily rotate on the arm if any force is applied to it. So, I don't understand the way that strap is made.I also discovered the unreliability of trying to compare apples to apples via the specifications. I needed to replace a malfunctioning High Pressure Sodium vapor (HPS) light fixture that had illuminated an area of about 3/4 acre when arm-mounted about 20' above ground. The HPS light was rated at 150 Watts, 13000 Lumens, and estimated to be around 2500K color temperature (giving the typical deep yellow sodium vapor light). I chose this 3000K, 18000 Lumens LED light because it was the only style that offered a low color temperature along with a lumens rating comparable to the HPS light. Unfortunately, it has the flat LED panel arrangement with no diffuser, which restricts the direct illumination to an area about half the size of the area covered by the HPS light, and illuminates only the bottoms of trees and buildings around the periphery of the yard. (Due to the LED's 120-degree diffusion pattern versus the HPS's 200+ degree pattern). Also, although the LED light is "focused" in a smaller area, its 18000 Lumens give a dimmer light than the HPS's widely-dispersed 13000 Lumens - which seems rather odd. And the LED's 3000K "warm white" color temperature is MUCH colder ("bluer") than the HPS's yellowish light (as well as not being as yellow as shown in the images of the light in the LED's Amazon listing). Consequently, I'll need to find a different LED light if it is going to functionally "replace" the HPS light. The question is: How to use the specifications to select a light that really will do the job. Frustrating!

I can say it is bright! It lights up my back yard while attached to my house, not a garage. I can see very well on the darkest of nights. I haven’t had any issues to be concerned about. It comes on when it begins to get dark and goes off when it begins to get light. It’s just what I wanted and I consider it a good purchase.

This is my second purchase of this barn light. Both lights did not last more than a few months. When I went to contact the seller I was informed that the product is out of the warranty window (30 Days) which is completely unacceptable. I would avoid this seller and product.

I put this light out by my barn and it did great for the first 12 months, then it started blinking like a strobe light. It may work right for a night or two and then back to blinking again. Now it just blinks all the time. Going to replace it but probably another brand.

Las lámparas son pequeñas, pero en verdad funciona y alumbran muy bien. Compré dos para alumbrar la entrada de mi casa, iluminan perfecto, pequeñas pero muy potentes. Muy recomendables.

Bought this to replace a very old fluorescent lamp that works dusk to dawn.Sadly it is not designed to mount to a U.S. NEMA standard outdoor rated box, but to a curved lamp pole about 1.5 inches diameter (guesstimate) or a flat wall surface with a hole drilled through to the inside/power source.I had to fabricate a triangle shaped backing plate with center hole that accepts 1/2" mounting threaded pipe, then drill 4 holes, 3 to mount with bolts to plate and one for the 1/2" standard mount to a U.S. box. Works great once all the little mounting gremlins were banished.

I read the reviews before I bought this light. One said the light was small but bright. Very true. This is a nice light. I guess the old saying that big things come in small packages is true. This was my review when I purchased the light. But now 19 months later it’s haywire. Just like other reviews it now flashes like a strobe. Comes with a warranty but purchasing a new and different light is less hassle. Bottom line, Don’t buy this light. Works good for awhile, then pukes.

This light is small but, it gives off a huge amount of light. We have it 20 ft in the air and it brighten’s like daylight. It’s one of the best lights we’ve ever purchased. Buying 3 more to brighten our whole RV park. We’ve had it up about a month so far, we have nothing negative to say about it.
