Maybe I didn’t do it right, but I have a fair amount of experience with sanding and polishing, but I didn’t find this set to be wildly better than the graduated grit sandpaper I typically use.

This is a pretty good kit for polishing all sorts of natural stone. I had light scratches in a marble top shelving unit and this helps you remove those. The grits are printed on each disc for easy identification, which is good, because I don't think the color coding is any sort of industry standard. They include a backing plate which is also appreciated because those do break from time to time, and if you never had a set like this, it eliminates you from having to hunt it down. It's best to use these with water to keep dust down and lubricate it a bit, but you aren't required to. It also helps them last longer. I think this is a pretty good set, and am happy with it. I can't find anything to criticize about it, even the price seems pretty good.
