How to replace a new MAF sensor?
1. Clean mounting surfaces. Install new quality air filter or thoroughly clean an existing reusable one.
2. Remove protective covers.
3. Replace sensor and tighten retained hardware. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
4. Push the connector back on ensuring good electrical connection. Reconnect the battery cable.
5. Clear any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC’s) stored in the PCM and reset any learned fuel trim values.
