I have an attachment capable Kobalt 80V trimmer. This head with an extra bump knob, costs about as much as just the bump knob on the Kobalt. The bump knob on this feels thicker and like a harder material than than the Kobalt one.This one is easier to assemble with string also. The spool fits into the cover and stays put until you click it into place.

This replacement trimmer head is not made with the same quality of plastics as the original and the parts aren't finished as well as the originals after the injection molding process. My sense is that they won't stand up to to abuse as well as the originals, but time will tell, and I can't really ding the product for a prediction about the future which might turn out to be wrong.I like that the replacement head comes with two bump knobs as, given the lower quality plastic, the bump knob is likely the first thing to break.Note as well that the head is not shipped with a full length of trimmer line, but some trimmer line is included.
