Seeking a meaningful way to showcase my son’s hard-earned karate belts, this wooden display with durable black felt backing has been perfect. My daughters BJJ and judo belt is far to big for this . Folded twice there is about 4 inches on each side. Not at all like in the picture. If you fold it to make it look like the picture, it is too thick for the rubber bands. It is simply a piece of felt on a fake piece of wood. Not impressed with it and I will look for a new one.

I purchased a sturdier wooden version belt holder for my kid that I love but it only has 10 belt slots. I couldn’t find a 12 slot holder until now so I was really excited for this version since my kid will be achieving 12 belts in her martial arts sport. This version is flimsy and lightweight and not nearly as sturdy or high quality as my other version. However, this is much cheaper than other options and easier to hang since the display itself is lightweight before the added weight of the belts, so I actually think the flimsiness can be an asset. I’m excited that it can hold all of my kids’ belts and that it can still hang on my wall without being challenging to mount such a heavy display.
