DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY.Deliver yesterday, read instructions, warning etc. Assembled. This morning, 30 minutes into attempting to thin down the grass so I could get my lawn mower out, AND THE DARN THING BREAKS . PLASTIC JOINT WHERE HANDLE ATTACHES TO MOTOR CRACKED, AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY TURNED SIDEWAYS , BLADE SPINNING ! . COULD HAVE BEEN A SERIES OR LIFE THREATENING INJURY HAD I NOT INSTANTLY SHUT IT OF.48 years of lawn maintenance care , but needed a lighter weight machine at my age. This thing might be light weight but is dangerously poorly designed.

This is a great engineering design with three cutting options. The batteries last good and there are two in the package,String does great on small grass but it goes through string very very rapidly. I love the concept, the ease of use, but I had to downgrade to three stars because it is cost prohibitive to continue buying the very expensive strings that is required. If it had a tap and go string, it would be much more attractive to me.

Works really well battery life was great 1 battery cut down 2inch limbs with little effort and the rest of the yard including edging with the knife adapter well worth the money.

I was a little skeptical about this wacker, but I am very pleased so far. I have used the string, blades and saw. I'm 60? and was worried about using it. The saw works on much thicker limbs than I thought it would. The blades work good on some low lying bushes and the strings with the glides do a great job on the courtyard. Yard guys cut it with a wacker anyway. It grows quicker than the other grass in the yard so it is going to be so easy to keep it looking good between cuts.
