I was hesitant when I bought these, but I will say that I was pleasantly surprised. They are just like the brother ones but more affordable. They are exactly the same size and do exactly the same as the brother labels. They fit into the machine perfectly. I would not be able to tell the difference if you were to give me a printed label from this one and the brother brand. They are definitely good quality.

I've been testing these cartridges with my Brother PT-1280 and they function just as well as the brand name cartridges I've used in the past. The printing is sharp and the labels adhere well. I put a few on slightly rough hard plastic surfaces (two handheld amateur radios and a battery charger) which isn't an ideal surface but they gripped tenaciously. The tape material feels and handles just like the brand name tape. The labels haven't been used long enough to be certain about durability but, so far, all indications are that they will prove durable. I'll update this review if they fall short of, or exceed, expectations with more use.As is typical of such label tape backing material is split down the center to aid removal. I find removing such backing material with my big fingers a bit tricky with all such products, not just this brand. If needed I use the small blade of a pocket knife or tweezers to help get backing removal started, so no big deal. I'd rather work a bit at removing backing material than use tape which doesn't adhere well.Bottom line, I'm happy with these tape cartridges. I would order them again.

I'm very happy with the quality of these cartridges. Great print quality. The backing is super easy to remove. nice adhesion, with no peeling up, even on a tight wire wrap. And no ink smudging, which is great. The only issue I had was getting the cartridge to sit nicely in my printer, but after a bit of modification to one corner of the cartridge, they worked perfectly. All in all, no complaints.

These are great cartridges. They worked just as well as the original 'sample' cartridges I received with my Brother label maker. The cartridge fit perfectly inside the machine despite the fact it has a slightly different conformation. I had to make sure the little tape tail was thru the exit path, but that's easy. If there's a difference in the tape quality, it's negligible. I could read the label just as well. The test printout looked the same to me and the label stuck just as well to my test surfaces. I was very happy to have a relatively inexpensive option that produced the same quality labels as I was used to.

While I did not need 4 tape refills, the price was too tempting. They are significantly less expensive than the brand name labels. I ordered black and they look great. Excellent quality, clear readable type, and easy to remove backing.

This label tape works just as well as the OEM brand. I can only see a slight difference in the printing of the label. This one seems to be a thinner less bold print and I actually prefer this one over the OEM brand. It sticks well too. I'm happy with this product and can recommend it. I have it working in a Brother PTD 220 label maker.

The cartridge fits into the label maker perfectly. The quality of the print looks identical to the OEM branded tape. It cuts the same and peels the same with the seam of the backing material running the length of the tape. The only difference I've noticed is that the backing seems slightly thinner and takes slightly more effort to start peeling. Time will tell if the adhesive is as good as the original.
