They don't work well when the work at all. If you hold it just right, it's trying to lay down a thin strip of tape with designs on them. Getting them to work is sketch, and more than one fell apart during shipping.

There's a lot of styles here. The pens themselves seem hit or miss, with some working really well, and others sticking and struggling to make a clear line of decorative tape. It also does NOT work for a leftie! I have to put my notebook upside down to put it on right side up! That said, when you get it to work well enough, all the designs are cute. Some are a bit childish- like the alphabet, but that's a personal dislike. I like that they are retractable, so they don't catch on anything.I don't know if they are refillable- it seems like they should be (less waste would be great) but I haven't seen any refills available. I think because they are hit or miss in terms of getting the tape to come out not wrinkled, ripped or getting stuck, they are better valued at 14.99.

These decoration tapes are adorable and easy to use. They are a little wider than a regular correction tape so they are perfect for journaling/planning in small spaces.What's great:-Wide variety of designs.-Easy to use dispenser with a coordinating cute decoration on the outside.-If you go slow it's pretty easy to get a straight line.-They are retractable to protect the tip.-The design of the tip makes it easy to see where to stop to avoid cutting off the design.-Once the design is on the paper, it stays put and doesn't rub off easily.What I wish was better:-The dispenser opens and it looks like it's refillable, but I haven't seen refills available.-The crocodile tape had a little looser tension than it should, but it didn't seem to get worse and it still worked fine.-The citrus tape had a little tighter tension than it should and the graphics got stretched. When I used it a bit more and went slowly it was better.Overall, these are super cute decoration tapes that would be great for journaling, planning, cards, etc. They are easy to use and have fun designs. Highly recommend!
