I just started locking my hair and the locking need works wonderfully. They are very durable and user friendly. The color peel after a while but that was to be expected.

I have been doing my boyfriends dreads for over 5 years now and these tools are lifesavers! I don't know how I functioned without these before now! I would say these are an essential tool if you're working with dreads. Having all of the different sizes is super helpful.

If you are trying to fix broken locs or hair these tools definitely will help . If you are trying to add hair on to yours , perfect for that as well. Especially for the ladies that like to crochet add hair in .

It works perfectly, However; some of the needles do feel a bit inferior. The ones that are suited for my locs feel great and work perfectly. Overall it was a good purchase.

I liked the variety of picking tools and locking tools that were included in this set. Everything had smooth edges that won't catch on the hair as you work it into the dreadlocks. The only complaint that I have is that the storage bag they included is about 1½" to 2" too short to protect the taller picking tools. See the attached photos. I'll just end up using the clear ziplock bag that they came in and use the bag for something else.
