Count Increase
Click the button to increase the count by 1.
Count Decrease
Hold the button for one second to decrease the count by 1.
Count Reset
Hold the button for three seconds to reset the count.
First Step
Use the small wrench to loosen the hook head out.
Second Step
Select the size you want and align the protrusion near the marked size with the slot in the handle connector.
Third Step
Align the wrench with the groove on the hook head and tighten the hook head until you hear a click.

I got this to help with counting my stitches and rows. I also loved the fact it also lit up as well. I'm not really sure what I was thinking, but I assumed that as you crotched it automatically counted the stitches for you and you could press the button to go back if you needed and then press the row button to start the new row. Well I was very wrong. You have to press the stitch button every time you stitch and honestly that's kind of inconvenient. I usually have my hand towards the top of the hook and the buttons are at the bottom. So I have to keep my hand down there so I can continue a steady flow of crotcheting but still push the button. Since I'm not used to holding it down that far, sometimes I pish the wrong button or I'll push the stitch button twice and I've lost count and then I have to restart that entire section or row. At least with the rows you're only doing them so often so to push that button isn't that bad. I just expected this to be more helpful. I'd prefer just to use this for the light function which is very nice and has two light settings. I like that if comes with different sized hooks that you can switch out and it is very lightweight to hold. Overall, this is a 3 star item and mainly becuase I like the light then anything.

I didn’t buy it because of the light. I like the stitch and row counter. I like that the hooks are metal and not plastic.

My wife has been using this product (a gift from me) for several weeks. She was an absolute beginner and thinks this set is good for other beginners. Its instructions were easy to read, and includes a wrench to change out the heads. The needle is very smooth and does not snag the yarn.She has problems making the stitches correctly, she makes them too tight and cannot add on, since there is not enough room to get the needle to go thru. She has had to undo those stitches. She has tried different yarn weights and yarn colors. Not the problem of the tool, but still flustering.

I was so happy to have it this. Once I started working the hook part started falling. I tie up with the tools what is in the box and after few stitches started fallen again. When I started tie stronger to stop falling they are started cracking on side. .

Die Qualität der Hacken ist nicht gut Nachdem ich den Haken einen Tag lang benutzt hatte, änderte sich die Farbe und die Beschichtung geht ab.Tatsächlich rochen meine Hände und das Projekt, an dem ich gerade arbeite, auch nach Aluminium. Ich werde diese Häkelnadel nicht weiter empfehlen .

I was quite surprised how nice this hook set is. I’m used to my Clover and Tulip hooks so that’s what I compared these with. I can’t say they are as good but they are very nice to work with and just as smooth through the yarn. I take my crochet to work every day so I can work on my latest project at lunch and these will be the hooks I’ll have in my bag from now on. The set has all the hooks I may need in one convenient case. I haven’t tried the light yet so I can’t review that but it is quite bright. The only complaint is it only has the one setting so it may be a little bright for some people until you get used to it. Overall this is a great set of hooks and will be great to travel with. They’ll be coming with me on my next cruise.

Losing count when I crochet has long been a problem for me. Having a counter right on the handle keeps me from doing so. (Not that it is NOT automatic; you have to click the button.). An automatic counter would be great, but if it exists, I've yet to find it.The set included 9 different sized hooks, the ergonomic handle, a charging cable and a wrench to tighten & loosen the hooks. I was able to crochet a small serape (doll-sized) without recharging it and I kept count, so it look nice & rectangular, as it should.I had no trouble attaching or removing a hook. It's easy if you read the included instructions, There is also a nice zip case to keep it all organized.The only minor issue has to do with the case. It has the initials "KXK" in a fancy, curly font, on the front. But, using that font, the X looks disturbingly like a third K. The company may want to change that to a different font in the future.
