If you do much work on your own vehicles, you know the frustration that these clamps can be. I can't count the times when I've had one of these tension clamps spring out of my pliers into the depths of an engine bay, or into the galaxy-swallowing void that is my yard. You're instantly in need of a new clamp, and you don't have one that's just the right size, so you make the run to the auto parts store, where they do NOT have the size you're looking for. No, that one is only available at the hub store, which is in another town 12 miles over.If you get this kit, you will be saving yourself the headache that is finding new tension clamps. First, the kit is very comprehensive. It includes all the common sizes that I'm used to seeing while working on the various old Japanese cars that I own, plus a lot of other ones, in sizes larger and smaller than you'd normally see.The clamps all seem to be of good quality spring steel. I tried several of these with the included removal pliers, and all of them returned to their appropriate size without breaking or losing their shape. The included pliers work great. I've never owned a set of tension clamp pliers before, and even though these are cheaply made, they do their job much better than most sets of regular pliers you could name. They have a locking mechanism that is a little annoying at first, but could be removed if you didn't like it. The nose piece can even be rotated to work sideways, so you can get to some of those pesky, tight locations deep in your engine bay.The price isn't cheap for something you'll likely not use very often, but when you do need a clamp, you'll have what you need at your fingertips. Also, the pliers are a real bonus, and make the whole thing seem much more reasonable.

This is a good value for a very nice set of good quality and quantity of 130 spring style clamps in a variety of 16 different sizes (from 6-25 mm or 0.24”-0.99”). The clamps are made of grade 65 manganese steel and are well made and nicely finished. The style is in a seamless 360 degree clamp style. The size (in mm) is laser etched on the clamps. They also included a very nice, good quality set of clamp pliers with PVC non slip handles. The clamp pliers are alloy steel construction with a galvanized surface and are good quality. The clamps are in a nice quality hard plastic, clear, sectioned storage case that’s well labeled to show the sizes and how many of each clamp are in the set. Note that there is no storage bag or pouch to keep the clamp pliers with the case of clamps. I did end up using a clear vinyl plastic zipper storage bag of my own (not included) to keep them together.Be sure the clamps are the right style and size for your use. They have the measurements in greater detail in the listing details and pictures and how many are included in each size. Note that the smaller sizes have more in the quantity included vs the larger sizes that have less quantity of each of each size included. You may want to refer to, print or save the listing details and pictures as some instructions and use tips are included there.

I’ve always wanted a tool like this, and when I saw it came with a set of hose clamps, I had to grab it. These clamps are far better than the typical worm-drive types you find at most auto parts stores. Those tend to look rough and can bite into rubber hoses, which isn’t great for their longevity. The included hose clamp pliers and organized case with a range of clamp sizes make this set really convenient and practical for most jobs. My only wish is that it came with more larger-sized clamps—for things like radiator hoses or anything with a 1.5" OD or more.Overall, it’s a solid product and a great option for anyone who wants reliable pliers and high-quality clamps.

I've been wanting a pair of these hose clamps pliers for a long time, and I really should have gotten one sooner! This thing is truly a joy to use after years of fussing with removing these constant pressure hose clamps using regular old pliers. They lock onto the hose clamps and hold it open for you, while you slide the clamp into or out of position!! The head even rotates on it, allowing it to be used at any angle! Perfect for getting into tight spaces for those hard to reach clamps!! The locking lever is simple to use, and easy to release, and really makes all the difference! The jaws also hold very solidly onto the hose clamp tabs, so there's no worry about the clamp slipping off while you're getting it into place!! And having a good selection of small hose clamps all held in a neat organizer box means I'll never have to search for the clamp size I need! I really couldn't be happier! As always if I encounter any issues or think of anything else to add I'll update this review!

I mainly got this because I needed the tool to disconnect Ford spring clamps, but the extra rings are a nice bonus. The tool is cheaper-feeling, but it does hook into rings properly and has a hold-open to make positioning easy. The extra rings that come with it are nice, but there's many small rings that are generally not found on cars...I had myself thinking "these are going to be in this drawer until I die, then the next person will get them and throw them away." I'd much rather have many standard-size rings than many of the small ones, but I suppose I may have to eat my words if I ever need them.
