I use these chucks in my CNC machine for general hole drilling operations. I use a precision tool holder to spot drill and then follow up with one of these chucks for the actual drilling operation. The TIR for these chucks is about .006 to .008 which is fine for basic drilling operations since the drill bit will follow the pilot hole.
