This is not the thin wire of other string lights. These come with the thin wire covered by a thicker clear plastic that is not as fragile as the thin wire rope. Has what I needed in option and the remote is great.

YES-These rope lights are very lightweight, bright enough and the long length means I only need to connect 2 sets to go around my house.NO- My family agreed that the colors were “off” what the true color should’ve looked like. They also had “odd” color combinations preset in the remote. I suspect these lights are more of a multipurpose type lights, thus different colors and combinations. The remote was glitchy and didn’t feel well made.

Only after having it 3 months and I barely used them the black power box everytime in try plugging it in seems like it catch a fire 🔥 inside the box you can see it .
