sounds like an exaggeration but it's notour oldest few laid a clutch of 3, all of them hatched but only 2 made it, the first passed away due to malnutrition because she wasn't weening properly and got a respiratory infection and it all went down hill. the youngest was going down a similar route. would barely peck at seeds, wouldn't touch soft foods or liquid foods. and refused to take to a syringe, and the parents has since stopped feeding.he was woefully underweight and getting to the point that the vet was telling us there's not much more that could be done. I did notice however, he was slightly more inclined to eat when we was eating off large flat surfaces like the nest (not the ground)cockatiels are ground feeding birds Afterall. so I stopped putting his food in bowls, bought this and started laying his food out.he's gone from a dangerous 58 grams to a much better 69.5 and he's still gaining. he's gotten his energy back. stopped open mouth breathing, he's climbing more, spending less time on the floor, even started to try flying around the house.I'm not saying get this to save your birds life. but I am saying that in our unique case, it definitely helped save ours.

Cockatoo loves tearing the bark off this perch and a great place to rest her feet while getting some seeds. All natural product made of real wood. Well set bolts that won’t unthread from the perch when you tighten them down. Excellent product! Will purchase again and would recommend.
