No instructions, but there was just a few pieces, so easy to figure out. Seems to be sturdy. I recommend using a rubber mallet to pound the pole sections together, and put them together before attaching the pole to the base. Use a piece of carpet or a mat to put under the pieces as you pound the pieces together, for the protection of your floor and the pole. I use this to hang my indoor bug zapper on.

This item was poorly packaged and the arms actually punched holes through the box. The inside was a mess of broken styrofoam and two of the shorter pieces were wrapped together with thin plastic cling wrap. There were scrapes in the paint on multiple locations, and the poles did not fit together at all. No assembly instructions included, and none on the Amazon listing either.
