Put this on my 2003 BMW 525i because of P0440 code. Installed an got P0441 code. Old valve was bad, checked with 12 volts, new valve does work when checked with 12 volts, put throws P0441 code. Pulled purge valve off my BMW X5 and put on The 03 525i, no more P0441 code. New valve is junk, no way that I can see to contact seller. Just spend the money and buy a genuine BMW Purge Valve.

I own a 2001 BMW Z3 Roadster and I got the engine code P0444 Purge Control Valve circuit open. It's an easy part to install so did it myself rather than go to mechanic. The OEM part costs $86-$100+ depending where you buy. I figured let me try this aftermarket part first and if it works I will save $$. I installed it and it's working great. Engine light has not returned. Only issue I had was I had to rotate the valve on an angle to mount the rubber piece to the bracket it fits on where the original part had that rubber piece in a different location for easier installation. Overall it fits and works so I'm pleased.
