Product was as described and of very good quality. I don't normally leave revues but I read some negative about the product and wanted to weigh in. Screws are NOT cheap, more than adequate for the job. As long as you know what you are doing, this product is fantastic. I am using it on a 8 ft wide door so I can't imagine anyone having trouble with this closer.

Easy for my husband to install. Keeps the gate closed so dogs don’t get out of our new post and rail gate. Bought a 2nd one!

Very disappointed. Spring comes without installation instructions. I looked it up online and am fairly handy. Other models have pins to apply tension. This one has a little bar that doesn’t really work and in my case, it needed a little extra tension and is impossible to apply more than about a quarter turn. My return window closed and it’s mounted so now I’ll just have to buy a completely new one from another brand.

The gate that I installed this tois a heavy wide wooden gate. I honestly didn't think it was going to work I was wrong. Its literally a strong heavy spring that controls my gate with ease. Would definitely recommend.

This definitely surprised me the first time it closed the gate, it is super strong and slammed it straight shut. Seems well made and like it will last.
