We have cats that absolutely love to get their toys in the most inconvenient places where we retrieving the toy is nearly impossible without moving the furniture. We’ve given these full testing now and they really do work to keep their toys out of the “forbidden” places. The guards don’t even move so we don’t worry about the cats somehow moving them aside to stick the toy where it shouldn’t go. Each section can lock into another section so you’ll have a solid wall of blocks. So happy we found them and will definitely order more as needed.

This review is for the 18 Pack Under Bed Blockers for Pets – Easy to Install Black Plastic Under Couch Blocker (6.5" H x 14.5" L) – Prevents Dogs, Cats, Toys from Getting Under Sofa or Furniture.Oh man - I have needed something like this since the first day I brought boxer brothers into our home. They are so playful, but toys are always rolling under the cough, end table, nightstand and dressers. These blockers are perfect! May to snap together. Zip ties help to hold them better. I received tons of sections, which were more than enough to do our L-shaped section, and the 3 sides of our bedroom dresser - and we still have 9 sections left. Less frustration playing with the dogs now, though they went after the balls much harder when they were younger. Will always have these on hand for future pups and children.

It was kind of an ordeal for 3 people to get these around the couch, but really it's not a defect of the product, so really can't deduct any stars. Well, one, because the tops that are supposed to snap together, some don't or you have to really use some muscle. But, we found, it works even if not all of those were snapped. You attach one to the other by sliding the bottom half of the large sides together, that worked fine and stayed in place. The the top half of that side, you push on side into the other and it's supposed to snap, maybe, maybe not. There is a long side, then a short side attached at 90 degrees. The long sides attach to one another. It seems you can use it either with the short side under the couch and the long side going up the couch, or the long side under. Depends on how big the gap is I suppose. We used it with the short side going under. We put enough pieces together to just about the same length of the couch, a little bit short. Then 3 pieces for each side of the couch, which were about half a panel too long. We went with too long instead of too short. Now, someone has to pick up on end of the couch enough for someone else to slide the side section under the feet, and get the front section under the front foot. That took a few tries, feet, hands, some arguing, but we got there. The other side we now knew what we were doing and was easier. The couch is basically the dog's couch, and it has an elastic cover over it, so we put that over the grid. Don't really care about how it looks but if you do, take into account the appearance of a black plastic grid. Maybe have to short side showing and the long side under. The dog has already put it into practice and was dumbfounded when her ball was still there and didn't go under the couch! I miracle, happy days!! Now we won't have to move the couch and clean all the toys out when she comes to us saying she has nothing to play with! If they came in smaller sections or an assortment of sizes, you would be able to get the measurements more accurate. I don't care. The gap that is in the front is in front of a leg, so balls can't go under, and the extra on the sides just go behind the couch.

What an awesome find! I didn't even know these existed but completely helped solve a problem we have literally 10x a day. These were easy to install/put together, no tools needed and I was surprised we actually used all but 1. We used 3 for under our small TV stand in our living room and the rest under our sectional couch. They fit very well and when it wasn't perfect they have a small give, a bend, that made them easy to flex to put under perfectly. I do wish they had maybe half pieces for the one small part its not covering but otherwise literally perfect. I didn't have to use the ties bc they are very sturdy as-is. They look very discreet and don't give a bad look. Besides if your situation is like ours, where your dog barks constantly for something that just rolled under, and your getting up 100x a day for things under the furniture, I really didnt care what they looked like as long as they worked. So the fact that they are discreet is a real bonus. I see these holding up too. My dog doesn't bother with them so I can't see that being an issue. Overall I couldnt be more pleased.

My only gripe with these is that they can be tricky to snap together. They hold really well, but the amount of force you need mixed with the angle you have to press it at makes it kind of tricky. I actually used this under my son's bed, he has a metal platform that is open and sooo many things get pushed under his bed. These worked perfectly, the bed just sits right in the corner of the plastic frame.

I'm puppy-proofing the home, and these have come in handy for multiple projects! Most recently around the lower half of my side table and between it and the sofa. Can't have the little guy getting back there to all the cords, outlets, behind the couch, and heaven forbid, the reclining mechanism! The pieces do fit together well end-to-end, but that's not what I needed here. This little project alone required several more than the 6 zip ties that came with the package, but I'm very confident in the security of this area now. These panels are too short for my bed, but I will definitely use them to block puppy from getting behind or between furniture. When he gets a little older and we don't need to block off areas as diligently, these would make a fun little maze to set up and play with. These may end up providing years of entertainment in the end!
