I have been amateurs woodworking for 15 years. Every room in our house has a desk, dresser, table or cabinets that I have been able to build. I have been through a few sets of router bits in those years. Here is both the good and the bad of this set of bits…PROS- Includes all the basic shapes and styles that you typically need.- The bits come in a case that should last forever. Very secure fit, there is no fear of spilling bits even if the case is open.- Initially cut sharp enough.CONS- I agree with another reviewer that these are very typical cheap bits that are available cheaper from other brands.- The bearings are cheap. They will probably fail before the blades dull.- The bits are really stuck into the foam in the case. Very hard and inconvenient to pry out. Have to use a screw driver every time.CONCLUSIONIf you are building a quick few projects and just needs some inexpensive bits to get you by, then this set will do fine. Though a similar quality set is available for less money. If you want your bits to last though daily use then go for the reputable brand. One bit will cost you as much as this set, but it will last and last.

Value for money is pretty low. Same set you get from that import site for much cheaper. Quality isn't any better.

I use router often when working with wood. I mainly use them for rounding off edges and sometime building raise cabinet panels. These bits work as well as any I've ever used. Had no problems with them. How long they last, don't know yet. Happy having these with my other bits.

This is a nice well rounded set, for either a starter set, or to add more capability for a hobbyiest. I haven't used all the bits yet, but the two I did use gave me nice smooth edges. I would have preferred 1/2" shank bits because to me those seem to last longer and vibrate less, but I didn't have troubles with these. The foam insert holds the bits securely in the case, and two allen keys are included for adjusting or removing the guide bearings.

These are decent bits. They are going to break if you use them a lot, but that's okay because they're in a set. I've never bought router bits in a set and thought, "I will have these for the rest of my life." That's just unrealistic. So, when I say these are decent bits, I mean that they're decent bits for a beginner or someone who doesn't want to break the bank getting the bits they need for infrequent use. You get a versatile selection to work with for a good price. They even come in a case, although they're a bit hard to remove from it. Overall, though, these are worth picking up as long as you understand what you're buying.

This is a nice regular set of router bits. They look like they'll wear pretty well are sharp and perform like they should. I like the fact that they sent along 4 pattern bits (bearings below cutterhead). This is the first set I have seen with any of these included. Not all of us use patterns if our work is mostly one off projects, but if you have a need for short production runs of flat trim jobs, the use of patterns makes sense, especially if you have access to a vacuum system or vacuum clamps. This can really speed up the work while improving quality. Or you might need to clamp down a straight edge sometimes to trim something underneath, or mortising in door hinges with a template or tool. Very handy when needed. It also has 4 regular trim bits (with bearings arranged above the cutterhead), and 6 roundover bits with radius from 1/8" to 1/2".They come in a sound looking plastic box with real (plastic) hinges...not a bendy plastic flap with a limited life span, and the inside is lined with high density foam with niches for each bit. They are a tight fit and sometimes need to be pried out, but they are safely stowed. These bits are well made, stored safely, and are sharp and ready to use. I look forward to using them for a long time and would recommend them to others.
