This stock pot looks like it is a very good quality product and the finish on this one is beautiful! The Magnalite brand was recommended when I recently visited Louisiana but I was traveling by car and was unable to purchase one down there to bring it back. I was delighted to see that it was being sold on the Amazon website and hope to be able to get one of the large oval pans next for cooking my delicious Cajun/Creole meals!

I love this 14 qt. stock pot for cooking gumbo. I have had a magnate oval roaster for years and love it too. I just wanted a stockpot to cook my gumbo as well as some soups in.

My family owns Magnaware Dutch ovens that we all rely on for stews and roasts. They are heritage pieces. I wanted a heavier, taller vessel in which to cook my jams, jellies and syrups. And king crab or snow crab legs! I like this one because it holds heat well. That it's lovely hurts nothing.

Very nice. I wanted to try cooking collard greens. Let me tell you! They were extremely delicious and tender. The steam, didn't cip out, like my other pots. Diffently a 10!

Needed a good thick even heating pot to make Roux and Gumbo without having sticky hot spots at the bottom of the pot. This fit the bill perfectly. However there is a blemish in the aluminum lid surface, and for the cost of the pot it should be flawless. I give it four stars due to quality control. Other then that its a wonderful pot.
