What is it?
The Transmission Conductor Plate is a part of the transmission system. The plate is mounted on the valve body of your automatic transmission. The pressure relief valves, shift control valves and speed sensors are mounted on the plate. The conductor plate transmits the signals to the valves from the control module. The sensors mounted on the plate are crucial to the operation of the automatic transmission.
If the sensors fail, the transmission control unit will be unable to determine which gear to engage the transmission in. This will cause the transmission to get stuck in one gear or slip into "limp" mode. While replacing your conductor plate, you should also replace the transmission fluid, gaskets, o-rings, seals and pan. If you sense that your transmission is not switching gears smoothly, it is a possible symptom of a failed or damaged transmission conductor plate.

How to Replace Transmission Conductor Plate?
Allow the car to cool down. Secure the vehicle with jack stands. Set parking brakes.
Remove the splash shield from under the vehicle.
Place an oil pan under the transmission. Locate the drain plug at the bottom of the transmission pan and remove it using a 5mm Allen Socket and drain all transmission oil.
Remove the Allen or T30 Torx bolts that hold the transmission pan in place.
Remove the oil filter by pulling it downwards.
Locate the plug connector from the transmission. Turn the bayonet lock counterclockwise and pull the plug out.
Locate and remove the T30 Torx bolts that hold the valve body and conductor plate assembly in place.
Remove the yellow plastic covers at the top side of the conductor plate. Underneath it, there are six solenoids held in place by three brackets. Remove the T30 Torx bolts and pull out the solenoids carefully.

The13 pins connector leaks, tried to reinstall twice, the screw broke inside conductor on the 3rd try, I ended up having to replace the whole set, 3 times the oil and labor cost way more then buying OEM parts, plus the filter won’t stay in place, literally not one piece of anything in the package works! It seems all the plastic part or the o-rings are slightly smaller, not a visible difference but they just won’t seal as they should

Due to the fact that there are some negative reviews and the FCP Euro conductor plate kit is literally almost 3 times more expensive, I was hella skeptical but I got this in my W220 and so far it’s working amazing. check engine light even turned itself off. I am worried about longevity for such a cheap part so I will update if it doesn’t hold up. But so far, WELL worth the money. If you’re reading these reviews trying to make sure it’s not junk like I was a week ago, this is your sign to just full send it.

Kit came in quickly and well packaged. Unfortunately I was not able to use the filter due to the very loose fitting. It felt like it would fall out with at any point. My "old" filter only had 1000 miles on it so I had to reuse, not my favorite thing to do.
