Takes a bit of time to unwrap all the plastic that surrounds the wire.

Overall just a really good roll of Landscape wire. All sheathing is solid with no deformities or damage. It is easy to strip the ends and the wires inside are nice and tight. There are a few alternatives out there for a little less money but I can't comment on their quality or value. This roll however is very good and priced fairly and competitively with other manufacturers. I am happy with what I received.

LUCKY TL 14/2 Low Voltage Landscape Wire 100 Feet, 14 Gauge Wire 2 Conductor came exactly as described. Copper stranded wire measured with calipers to be 14 AWG. Jacketing is nice and thick but still flexible. One side of the cable has a rough/grooved surface, so you can easily identify the wire ends and connections to lights when wiring if you are running a DC circuit. According to their supplied chart this 14 AWG wire at 100ft would be good for a total 50 watt installation so consider the number of devices (lights) that you are planning to install and your total watt capacity of the power supply before purchasing. Also note that most power supplies and or transformers do not recommend max’ing out the watts. In my case, I am using a 60 watt 12VAC transformer so I need to stay around 50 watts total. This wire will work well in this scenario.

I use a motion detector at the end of my driveway connected to a smart relay and a wireless doorbell remote. I'm currently using the wires in a siamese coax CCTV cable, which I know won't last. I also want to operate a light out there, since my delivery box is there and now that it gets dark earlier it helps the carriers find the intended dropoff spot. The 14 Gauge is better for this than the 16 or 18 that's in the siamese cable. I probably can't install it until spring, but I don't expect any issues with a spool of wire.

This wire has a durable jacket and has low resistance. This is a good value compared to big box store pricing.

I'm installing landscape lighting along my driveway which is about 100 ft. long so this was a great choice. The cable meets the needed voltage requirements and is rated for underground. The wires are multistrand, flexible and seem to be will coated. A set of ridges down one side makes it easy to determine the negative from the positive side. I'm not an expert but this seems to be a good cable for my needs. 5-stars.
