I needed to cover an edge to prevent damage. This is really soft and flexible, sticks well if you clean the surface properly. It matches the look and texture of the surrounding mouldings, so it doesn't look like anything was even added on. It did take a little work to get it to contour properly because it's very flexible but I wouldn't say that's a bad thing. I prefer that to fighting a stiff piece of trim that ends up looking wonky because you can only peel and stick so much before it doesn't work.

This seal is easy to apply and feels durable! Looks great too, no bubbling or slipping once pressed down onto the car.

I decided to give this 19mm x 23ft T-shape sunroof seal a try on my older SUV. Over time, the original weather stripping had started to deteriorate, leading to wind noise and even some minor leaks. This seemed like a cost-effective way to address the issue.- The rubber material seems reasonably durable, though time will tell how it holds up to the elements. It's flexible enough to conform to the curves of my sunroof, which was a concern I had. The self-adhesive backing made installation relatively easy, though I did take my time to ensure a clean and even application. I also cleaned the area thoroughly before applying the seal, which I think is key for good adhesion.- The 23ft length was more than enough to go around my sunroof with some to spare. I appreciate that it's cuttable, so you can customize it to your specific needs. I even used some of the leftover stripping to reinforce some other weather stripping around my doors.- After installing the seal, I did notice a significant reduction in wind noise, especially at highway speeds. It's not completely silent, but definitely a noticeable improvement. I haven't had any rain since installing it, so I can't speak to its leak-proofing capabilities yet, but I'm hopeful.- One thing I would suggest is to be careful when handling the seal. The T-shape design can be a bit tricky to work with, and it's easy to accidentally kink or damage it. Also, the adhesive backing is quite sticky, so once it's on, it's on. Make sure you're happy with the placement before pressing it down firmly.Pros:- Good length and flexibility- Easy installation with self-adhesive- Noticeable reduction in wind noiseCons:- Can be tricky to handle- Very sticky adhesiveOverall, I'm pretty happy with this T-shape sunroof seal. It was an easy and affordable way to improve the comfort of my SUV. If it holds up well over time, I'll consider it a great value.

My 2013 Mini Cooper has rubber weather stripping between the bottom of the windshield and the top of the plastic cowlings at the top-back of the engine compartment. Over the years the rubber has dried out and cracked. Then this past winter the weather stripping began to breakup. Scraping the windshield to remove snow caused big chunks of the weather stripping to break off. This T-Shaped weather stripping has worked great as a replacement. I used a box cutter to trim away the remaining rubber seal then cleaned the plastic and the windshield. The last step was to use the included alcohol wipes to clean the edges where this weather stripping adhesive will go. I pulled back some of the adhesive backing and applied it to the windshield and cowling. I used the T portion of the weather-stripping to act as a guide and filler between those areas. I purchased the 19mm wide stripping which was perfect for my use. Scissors or a knife can be used to cut it to length. It has been a few days now and the adhesive appears to be holding up well. It has been rained on and I have noticed no issues.
