I bought pair these for the front and back of my pontoon. Easy to install,water cover resistant, slick design,made good quality, fit perfect into side rail,all rubber coated for water resistance. With length of line provided made it perfect to get from outside to the inside of my boat.

NEEDED POWER TO MY SHED, GOT THIS ADAPTER WHICH WAS EASIER THAN RUNNING LINES, CONDUIT ETC...EASY TO INSTALL WITH HOLE SAW. WATER/RAIN TIGHT JUST PLUG THE END OF YOUR EXT CORD INTO IT AND POWER TO THE SHED. OF COURSE YOU NEED A OUTSIDE OUTLET NEARBY TO RUN YOUR CORD, JUST UNPLUG IF YOUR POWER IS NO LONGER NEEDED

I used this to install electricity into a mobile guitar “vault”.Using a drill with a hole cutting attachment, I managed to get this installed in a short period of time, and it allows me to supply electricity to the vault, by plugging an extension cord to the aperture that is flushmounted to the surface, and the female Edison end plug supplies, electricity to a standard multi outlet strip, which is mounted to the inside, powering, LED lighting

Everything about this plug was great except the mounting system. Probably more suited for wood applications as for the provided screws broke even after pre drilling the holes in my container. I ended up using my own screws along with some silicone to complete the installation. It's done and it works fine, bottom line !

I am building a so called "Solar Generator" or mobile power station. I used a large wheeled utility box, and needed a way to plug in my AC battery charger. This AC power inlet was the solution. I mounted my battery charger inside the box, cut a hole in the box and installed this inlet. Perfect!The battery charger is plugged into this inlet and I can externally plug in the charger. It is well made, has a weatherproof cap to protect it, and was a breeze to install. The cable is 20" for easy placement in my box.I am very happy with this inlet. It is UL listed, is rated at 15A and is 3 pronged with ground. This is a great product that is also well priced. I find it to be a good value and it gets 5 stars from me.

Great product that makes my life a lot easier as an angler. I have a lot of batteries and four on board chargers on my boat (my state only allows ectric only motors), so there are wires running everywhere.This oroduct allowed me to tuck all of the wires/plugs away in dry areas in the boat. Now I just plug my extension cord into this port saving me a bunch of time, space and frustration.Make sure to install well ABOVE the waterline if you plan on doing this to your boat. Even though it seems like a waterproof seal, I wouldn't want to test it out!Worth mentioning - it only came with the two black screws, not the silver bolts. I ordered three and they were missing on all three, so I know it wasn't just a one off oversight. Fortunately I had some bolts and nylon insert nuts that fit perfectly.
