I have two solar arrays on 24 volt charge controller/LiFePO4 battery bank/inverter setups running (mainly) my upright freezer and side-by-side fridge, but I have an extra 200 watt panel or two and wanted to use those mainly for charging an extra 12 volt LiFePO4 battery as a backup power source for our laptops and phones and to run a DC fan in the summer. Because my 24 volt systems depend on two 12 volt batteries connected in series, I worry that one battery might fail and take down the whole system, so I also want to be able to solar-charge 12 volt batteries for swapping into my main system banks if one of the batteries should fail. For this 1500 watt sized inverter, it's recommend to use at least a 100Ah battery, which is exactly what I have. I was able to obtain an inexpensive MPPT charge controller to put between the solar panel and the battery; this 12 volt inverter is connected to the battery and used to power the fan and, if the grid goes down, small-wattage appliances like a rice cooker or Instant Pot. This inverter has a peak of 3000 watts, double its constant power rating; it's good to know I could run something pulling higher wattage, but for my planned setup, I'll stick with appliances that don't run down the battery too quickly. Mainly, I want to be able to charge our laptops and phones from it in case of a grid-down situation without having to cannabilize our well-calibrated fridge/freezer setups. I'll also have a backup battery to swap into one of my fridge/freezer banks should a battery fail and can add more batteries to my arsenal as we can afford them. It gives me a lot of flexibility if I have to cope with unexpected grid power loss.I especially like the remote control LED display on this inverter because I can put it at eye level and tell at a glance everything I need to know about how the inverter is handling. My other inverters don't have this feature, and I have to practically crawl under furniture to be able to see what they are up to. It's also really useful to be able to see error codes, because there is no such thing as a solar system that doesn't trip from time to time and it's helpful for the non-electricians among us to have a clue as to what's going on.The inverter itself is housed in a heavy duty metal case. Unlike my other inverters, it has in addition to the four AC outlets an output terminal block. I'm supposing this would probably be used for a dedicated hookup such as a TV or freezer, but I'm not likely to utilize the terminal block for my usage scenario. The fan will come on if the unit is outputting more than 40% power, so if you hear the fan it doesn't necessarily mean it's overloaded. Just be sure to follow the instructions on how to install and ground it. The diagram on the product page shows clearly how to hook the inverter to the battery and the battery to the solar array.

This review is for the Jlouneo Store 1500W Pure Sine Wave Inverter.I ordered this to have a backup power supply for SHTF situations, battery banks, and for HAM radio field operations. It is rated for an input of 12-16vDC, which is directly in the range for a vehicle alternator. My vehicle alternator puts out 14.45vDC. DO not use this with solar panels or battery banks above 16vDC! You WILL release the majic smoke that runs all electronics. This is an impressive looking inverter. The exterior is smooth, well built, and all the connections are plainly labeled. The manual is well written, in correct English, with few errors. There is a good beginners explanation of how to hook up the inverter correctly, and how to use the few controls on the unit. They included a TROUBLESHOOTING Guide at the back of the manual, which is very much appreciated. It was well written, logical, and would help solve simple problems. The kit comes with an extension control head and a very short set (24in) of (+) and (-) cables. They are unmarked, and look to be #4AWG. Since I did not want to permanently mount the inverter to a specific site, so I went out and grabbed a 12ft. long #4AWG Jumper cable. I took off one set of alligator clamps, and crimped on lugs. This way I can use it with a little more flexibility. It all goes into a small duffle bag for storage and portability.I hooked this up to my pickup battery, and then to a 250w high velocity floor fan. The internal inverter fan started immediately, and while somewhat lound, was not objectionable. After letting the system stabilize for a timed 5 minutes, I added a second 250w floor fan for a total of 500w demand. The fan seemed to increase a little in speed, but that may have just been my old ears, and wishful thinking. I let everything run for 10 min at a 500w draw, and there were no problems. The fan was putting out a fair amount of heat, but nothing serious. The four 120v outlets all tested at 118vAC. The USB-A tested at 5.12vDC(stable), and the USB-C tested at 5.189vDC (stable). I was not able to verify that this outputs a pure sine wave since I don't have an oscilloscope. I did not hook up the remote, since I probably will never use it.This is a nice inverter, and if you are looking for a flexible, multi-use 12vDC to 120vAC inverter, this might fit your needs. Based upon my short test, this would be a good buy.

For review today, I’ve got a Jlouneo 1500W Pure Sine Wave Inverter 12V DC to 120V AC Converter for Home, RV, Truck, Off-Grid Solar Power Inverter Built-in 3.1A USB, Type-C Port, AC Hardwire Output Port, Remote Control with LCD Screen.I’ll start off in saying that the dimensions aren’t technically right. They seem to be measuring the case without the wire terminals or the screw mounting tabs which take up space also. I made sure to include my measurements in pictures but it’s closer to 11.5”L x 9.5”w x 4”h for the 1500w inverter. The listing is incorrect, at the time of my review, and the included wires are 16mm^2 or about 5awg which really wouldn’t be big enough for my preferences with a 1500w inverter tho they did at least include the proper size ring terminals unlike some included inverter wires that I’ve seen. I don’t like my wires pushing their rating limits. It leads to unnecessary heat and voltage drop.I don’t like that there is no external fuse or breaker access and you’re going to have to remove 12 screws to access the insides and see if the fuses are even replaceable without soldering. There are 4 40A blade fuses inside like many of this level of inverters.Overall, it is a pure sine wave, decently made inverter that I’d say is right on par with the majority of the better made no name 1500w inverters available. The $120 price, at the time of my review, makes this one a pretty good value.

Just tried it out, ran heaters, The nice fan comes on at 750 Watts as advertised seems it should be coming on at much less we will see. Although the remote its easy to read an has a light button, The wattage readings are not right with 90 watt television 1/3 of what should be, But are right on70 watt freezer and 80 watt fridge readings ?
