Was supposed to get (2) For 9.99. Was only shipped one. I expected this round disc to be much thicker than it was. Disc was folded into a square and placed in a plastic bag before shipping. Tried to complain, wanted me to ship it back for refund. Nearest shipping too far away. Not worth the drive for the money. Could not get help from Amazon. Product of poor quality.

I tried this item, ONCE and won't use it again. It does prevent splashing but it my garage I don't care. I always put something disposable under my pan anyway so it doesn't matter if the oil splashes, and I never have much splashing anyway.The big downside for me is cleaning the pads. How many changes will they last? I don't change oil often so if I have an oil-soaked pad on top of my pan I still have to protect other things from contacting it while it's sitting in my garage. Without the pad, after an oil change I can wipe out the pan with a rag or paper towels. I haven't tried cleaning it yet, but I expect it would be a mess to clean, even if most of the oil had drained through. So, for some this might be a good solution, but for me it isn't practical and not worth the expense. I would not order this product again.

Oil splashes out of the drain caddy almost the same. The better ones look more porous. Would not recommend using this one. The oil kind of puddles on top also.
