These are well constructed and should work for many uses! I intend to use them as they were designed to hold down my pool ladder. But after seeing them, being that they are a solid water tight construction like a typical waterproof storage bag that one might use for keeping items dry in a boat or raft, I may buy another set just for that purpose!

These are marketed as pool ladder weights, and no doubt they fulfill that function admirably. For that purpose, I recommend filling them with paver sand from your local garden supply store. Paver sand is easy to transfer to the bags without making a mess, heavy in weight, and usually quite clean compared to sand you might find somewhere in the outdoors, like on a beach. Filled with sand, these bags are versatile "hold downs" for pretty much anything such as ground tarps, tent guys, large beach towels, and so forth.However, these bags have many other applications beyond just being "hold downs." For example, they are first-rate dry bags for protecting items when kayaking, camping, or engaging in other outdoor activities when you need to keep things like food or clothes protected from moisture. I used to use similar bags on multi-week kayak expeditions off the coasts of British Columbia and Alaska. Filled at the beginning of the expedition with food I needed to keep dry, they later were useful as flotation bags when simply inflated and then closed up by folding the top and then connecting the clasps.These Lvsnro bags are very heavy duty and cost-effective, and I am confident they will stand up to years of use. I recommend them.

These bags will make great alternatives to the higher priced drybags you see listed on Amazon. They are waterproof and include the rolltop closure and buckle fasteners. They also include shoulder straps to carry them with. That's something many drybags don't include.And these are much more economic than purchasing the drybags designated for that purpose. I'm using them on a float trip with my son-in-law and grandkids this summer to keep our gear dry. At this price, I don't think you can go wrong.

I love these! I needed weights for my 10x10 ft canopy that I use for vendor markets and these fit the bill. I just filled them 2/3 with sand and used a bungee cord to connect them to the canopy. The bags are thick and when they say tear-proof, they mean it. My husband and I did farmer's walks to take these on a 1/4 mile hike back to our back door and there isn't a stress tear on them.

These pool weights are really good quality. They will hold alot of sand and will be sufficient to securely hold down the basic types of pool ladders. The material is a very thick nylon and would be difficult to puncture. They are easy to fill and attach to the ladder. Overall, a good quality product. The price is excellent for the value.
