So far no complaints, they fit well on my turning tool, only complaint no screws provided. They are about 15 % of the price for a similar unit from the turning supply I use will wait to see just how long they retain a edge. But even half the time is a saving

I have a set of these cutters already and finally wore down my first (forgot i had screws in my work piece... oops.) But they take on any type of wood i have had and laughs. holds together great, just don't be stupid with them and yes, you can sharpen them. youtube it and get a 600 to 1000 grid diamond stone and the proper fluid. a set of these should last a hobbyist a few months or someone serious at least a month or longer.

At. First I thought these were a great deal when compared to the Easy replacement blades. I use a lot of these on my lathe and I find that about half of them are not sharp and I have to throw them away as they just bounce off of the surface of hard wood. The Easy blades are always sharp. The square blades are so cheap that it makes sense to keep using them in spite of the fact that I throw so many awy without using. The round blades however, not so much. I have gone back to the easy round blades as they are more cost efficient and not so frustrating

Works as intended, but impossible to determine lifespan without lab testing. These were very sharp out of the box

Overall, the price was low, and I figured it would be worth experimenting with these. However, I can't use these on anything but softer woods. For walnut they are fine, but when turning some Shagbark Hickory the edges break.

Purchased this for my father-in-law for Christmas. Had to send him the Amazon link so he could order more once he uses these, he loves them that much.

These fit my woodpecker carbide turning tool (mid size) perfectly. The edges are sharp and hold true. I'm not sure how long they last compared to the name brand tips; it is hard to compare but 10 are the same price as 2 of the woodpecker ones and the first one has lasted at least as many projects as my original tip did. I have since bought more and of the other shapes for my other tools. Attached is a photo of a pen I made with this tip only and another of cutting with the tip.
