Blades were well packaged. Not a mirror finish grind on any of the surfaces but decent. Tried them out on my lathe and they cut smoothly with a lot of control over the cut. Finish was very smooth, almost needing no sanding.

I really prefer using carbide inserts for woodturning these days. Even though I have a sharpening station set up for my high speed steel tools, it’s great to use carbide since they remain sharp so much longer. That means more time working and less time sharpening.These inserts arrived razor-sharp, and fit my tool perfectly. They are an excellent value, costing less than some single inserts. The negative rate on these cutters works well to help you keep from gouging your material when roughing it out. The quality of these carbide inserts seems on par with any others of used. And they perform just as well too. I tested one out on various different hardwoods and it performed well on all of them.Overall, I’d definitely consider this set of inserts to be a five-star product.
