Product description indicated these are good for pipe/pole of 1 1/2-inch O.D. Upon receiving measured at 1.74in I.D. (about 1 3/4in) when pinched closed. Way too large for 1 1/2-inch O.D. poles. I did like the lightweight strap clamp, was what I was looking for, except size is too large. Probably would be best used on 2-inch O.D. poles.

Shiny, not galvanized style. Very thin and not the same heft/ bulk/size you'd find in a store
