The installation will be very hard for some people. There isn't any good instructions. I have installed many 12 volt electronics. But i could have used a cheat sheet on how you connect the receiver to the amp. Power to Amp first. or second? The speakers come with a 4 wire wiring harness with no instructions why its there. The speakers have colored lights and a remote control. So i just hooked up the speakers only. I will figure out the colored lights later i guess. Im sending the Amp back to seller. It wont turn on. So they are working with me on that. I will edit this when i have the thing working.

Very disappointed in this Pyle Amplifier. I installed in my boat with new Pyle speakers. 1st thing happened was the performance of the speakers. When I power up, one or two of the speakers would not work. Then all 4 speakers worked, then two speakers would not work. Pulled my hair out! Every time I turn power on and off, did not know which speakers would turn on. Then I took my boat in the lake. Seemed everything worked ok. When my Mercury Motor charging system kicked up to 14.1 volts the Pyle Amplifier shut down. Tried over and over, same thing. I got totally fed up! I took out the Pyle Amplifier & Receiver and threw them in the dumpster! (threw packaging away so could not return) Went to my local Performance Auto Stereo shop and bought nice amplifier & receiver. Everything works perfectly! The Pyle speakers are very good.

I feel amazon should provide negative stars. Maybe black holes. I am 64 years old, been mechanic most of those years so radio installs are not new to me. This set was easy enough, one speaker of the 4 sent rattles at half volume, and after 2 hrs of play time the amp has an intermittent out put. Nothing like floating on the lake listening to some soothing tunes then dead silence then all of a sudden it comes back to life. Did all the usual check for shorts opens ect... took amp out and radio works just fine. Shouldn't I be enjoying this instead of working on it all the time ?

Loved the look and the price. Got everything installed and boom we were jamming. After a couple trips to the lake I realized 2 of the speakers weren't working. (No output from 1 side of amp) tried several things but problem stayed with the same lugs on the amp. Anyhow put boat in storage (covered) until this spring. Went through my checklist and remembered the speakers were acting up. Contacted the seller and they wanted me to pay shipping and there's no guarantee it would be covered as it has been 13 months. I was a little upset with the customer service they had and decided to open the amp for a visual inspection. Wow! Solder slag in multiple places, some even shorting contacts together. A few rings where solder was too thin. Overall this looked like a used board that a beginner repaired. I trashed the unit. Best to spend a little more.

Stereo is very cheap, speakers sound good with the amp. Your better off getting everything individually
