You never know what you are getting with offbrand tools, but seeing there are almost name brand versions of these I decided to try them out. Worked flawlessly, has a large range of sizes upto 1/2". Almost no effort required. If you've ever needed to attach something to metal and only have access to one side, this is the tool, bolts hold much better than screws.

Lots of choices for fastener sizes you want. Everything is there for you. Used it several times now. If you find the cert nut is loose just put the tool back in the cert and press it again. I'm super happy with it.

Took it through a dozen insert rivet jobs and had no issues. By my own fault I flatten a rivet before inserting it into the drilled hole and foul up the mandrel as a result. Lesson learnt. The full set of mandrels (metric and SAE) are a plus inclusion.Using stainless steel rivets requires a bit more effort to set the nut in place but this took it on with ease.

i bought this for a boat trailer project i am working on and it works great its so nice to have a item that makes your backyard project look like it was professionally done i have read other reviews about this tool not being durable but i believe they are not using the tool correctly causing it to break i have installed over 80 rivnuts and its still in perfect condition

I used this product to help restore my aging patio furniture. I had to replace the slings on the chairs. The only problem was the aluminum chairs were welded. This was a simple fix. I cut the welds with a Dremel tool, and when reinstalling I used the Rivet nut tool. In the future if I have to repair the patio chairs again, I will just have to unbolt them instead of worrying about cutting the welded parts.

The instructions are very poor but you will figure it out. Once you have done that it works like a champ. Use a caliper to measure the drill bit size. I used an 11/32 for the 6mm and 1/4" and had good success. They have to fit snug to get a good grip. Place with the handles open then close the handles. The main issue they don't tell yo is to put the mandrel on then add the big steel fixture. Then add the cap for the rivet to crush against. After you have crush the nut into place just open and close the handles a few times to unscrew the tool and it's done. A very professional install.

This Aiuitio rivet nut setting tool kit comes in at a very good price, and was delivered in a only a couple days. I have been using these type of nuts since the 70s, and the tools have improved a lot over the years, as have the nuts themselves. This one is no exception. I have only used it to set a couple 1/4" nuts so far, but the tool performed very well. It doesn't seem like it should have any problems with the larger nuts either. A couple of nice features are the "auto release" that saves some time from unscrewing the mandrel from a set nut, the tool-less mandrel replacement feature, and each mandrel has its own color coded storage box for quick identification. The whole kit includes a decent starter set of nuts, all at a price close to half of what I paid for just a tool alone, that only handled up to 1/4" nuts. The only thing that would improve this kit would if it included the #6-32 mandrel.

I removed the tool from a heat shrunk sealed wrapper to find that the bag that was SUPPOSED to contain M4 inserts, while present, was totally empty. I find it strange that the bag was there, and stuffed into one of the depressions in the case, but was totally empty. It was obviously done on purpose.All the other sample packs of nuts were present (uncounted) in their bags.The tool appears to be reasonably well made. I don't know how it will stand up to long term use. It appears to have a 'overrunning clutch' type of mechanism so that it only rotates the mandrel to unscrew from the nut and while it does rotate in the other direction as well, it has much reduced force in the clockwise direction. I did have to order a 6-32 mandrel set as, as advertised, this tool set does not contain a 6-32 mandrel. I suspect that the smaller size mandrels will be easy to break if one is not judicious with the applied force, and aware of keeping everything in line when using the tool. A misalignment is probably going to break the mandrel for the smaller sizes.I suspect I will break mandrels as at some point I will goon the tool.As I have not, as yet, actually tried out the tool, It will be unfair to say how easy it is to use, but in comparison to others on the market this one should be significantly easier as it does unscrew from the nut to remove. As to if the value for the money difference, that is up to the end user to decide for themselves.4/5 stars for not including the M4 inserts as advertised.If the company stands behind their product and sends me inserts, or compensates otherwise, I would be willing to upgrade their stars as everything else was as advertised.
