This tool is accurately represented in the photos and description. It seems well built and is a fairly standard design for this type of tool. The description advises the tool comes with rivets and riv-nuts, but it is overwhelming how many is included... it's hard to imagine until you have it in front of you. I imagine at my point in life, I won't need to purchase a rivet or riv-nut for the rest of my life.This is a really great tool at a great price. If you with metal - this is a must have!

The 14” gun easily converts from rivet nut mode to blind rivet mode easily. The gun and accessories feel sturdy and well made. It comes with an assortment of both Imperial and Metric mandrels and nutserts. It’s all packaged into a decent plastic carrying case. I can’t really find anything negative to comment on with this well put together kit. I consider it to be a good value.

This is a great little kit. I already own a nut setter and blind rivet tool. This kit replaces both tools into one. Not only does it replace my other rivet tools, but it also comes with even more size mandrels than my older unit. All of the pieces feel solid and well-made. I like that it came with a storage case. The case is average. It's better than some of the flimsy cases I've received with off brand tools. My main reason for getting this was it had more sizes that I could use, and there is a piece on my car that needs to be replaced, but it's riveted on. My old revet tool couldn't reach the space in my trunk where the rivets go. This tool is longer and allows me to get into the corner of my trunk. The tool performs really well. I wish I had gotten this before buying my other 2 rivet tools. This kit included a ton of peices. Not only did it have a bunch of mandrel sizes but it also came with a bunch of rivet nuts.

I picked up the WelderElite Dual-Function Rivet Nut Tool Kit to install threaded inserts on my custom truck build, and it’s been a solid choice. The kit includes a nice variety of sizes that covered everything I needed. Even though there weren’t any instructions included, I figured out how to use it pretty easily.While it’s not quite professional-grade, the build quality is decent, and it gets the job done. What really makes this tool stand out is the ability to install pop rivets, which adds a lot of value. The assortment of 405 rivet nuts and blind rivets is a big plus, so you don’t have to worry about running out of pieces mid-project.Overall, this is a good, versatile tool kit that does exactly what I needed for my project.

This tool is designed to install both Blind Rivets (aka: Pop Rivets) and Rivet Nuts (aka: RivNuts or NutSerts). It appears that this tool kit was originally configured for metric hardware installation only as all of the slots in the tool case are labelled for metric rivet mandrels and metric rivet dies only. The SAE mandrels were added to the set and have no homes molded for them in the case. No additional dies for SAE-sized rivets were added to the set. I can only assume that there is no great difference between SAE and Metric rivets in an application such as this. The four-page Instruction Manual only makes reference to the metric size parts.The seller of this tool kit (WelderElite) has added not only the SAE mandrels to the kit but has also added a substantial quantity (more than enough to get started) of both metric and SAE rivet nuts and a quantity of blind rivets in various sizes to complete the kit. The metric mandrels included are: M3, M4, M5, M6, M8, M10, and M12. The SAE mandrels added to the set include: #6-32, #8-32, #10-32, #10-24, 1/4"-20, 5/16"-18, 3/8"-16, and 1/2"-13. The blind rivet dies (and their SAE equivalent size) included are: 3.2mm (1/8"), 4.0mm (5/32"), 4.8mm (3/16), 6.0mm (15/64"), and 6.4mm (1/4").The four-page Instruction Manual explains how to change the configuration from rivet nut mode to rivet mode and vice versa. Additionally, there are videos on the Amazon page for this product that provide much better instruction than the Instruction Manual does. Actual instruction on the adjustment and use of the tool for either rivet nut insertion or rivet insertion is lacking in both the manual and the Amazon page. That said, it should not be too terribly hard to figure out how to adjust the tool for either task. The seller of this tool (WelderElite) has provided an additional one-page instruction sheet that does provide a lot of information on the use of the tool and an email address where one may address technical requests. That address is BestWeldingGear@outlook.com.I have needed a tool like this for many years, but just never managed to get one. It solves so many problems so quickly and will save so much time on so many projects. I can see that I will be buying some of the rivet nut assortments sold on Amazon in the very near future. The dual function rivet nut and pop rivet tool with 15 mandrel sizes and 5 pop rivet heads by WelderElite/BestWeldingGear is made in PRC (china). The plastic case is not very durable, as the hinge is a plastic flap and not a piano hinge. The tool does a good job on the rivet nuts. The larger size rivet nuts are a strain, but the tool handles itself well. The tool is a bit big for pop rivets. This is a bit pricy for $65, as the included rivets and rivet nuts are lesser quality I normally use.4 stars

I have a name brand unit that I can only use for metric and has four different die sets. I bought this to have the versatility, but upon opening the box I was overwhelmed by how many attachments there are! It comes with so many different metric and SAE attachments as well as a good assortment of nut certs as well.
