It's not 1/8 thickness that I expected. It's way thinner but can be used just not as suitable for what I wanted it for.

LOVE! This tape!1987 house with failing windows, in past couple years had to put shrink film over worst windows inside to make room habitable.Yesterday the temperature dropped like a bomb. This morning it was -6℉ (BELOW zero), right now Alexa tells me the windchill is -24℉. See the ice on the window pane in the first photo.Even at these temps, the tape went on easily and stuck. To try to further keep it adhered, I used a hair dryer to heat up the already applied tape and press it down further. Looked better and felt more secure afterwards.Spots around the window indoors had been hitting 19 to 27 ℉ (measured with an infra-red spot temperature gun) with icy winds pushing through the window frame's deteriorated vinyl balance system. Really intolerable. After applying the tape, drafts were pretty much gone and the room temperature increased by 15 degrees within 30 minutes.I know it's only a temporary fix, but it gives me valuable time until next spring to decide on a long term situation. My family cannot believe what an amazing change this tape made.I'm going to get more and start taping up more of the worst frames. Lots nicer than putting window shrink plastic over the whole windows. Feels lots better the shrink plastic did last year. This is a no-brainer.Strongly Recommend!

I put this product around my window a/c unit and I have no air leaks and it stick really well to both the glass and vinyl window frame.

Seemingly good product, until you want to take it off. Does NOT come off easily, in the slightest. Tape breaks into tiny pieces and leaves tons of residue behind. I’m using multiple tools to remove + acetone and I’m still unsure I’ll be able to get it all off. Good product if you plan to keep it on forever…otherwise, skip this.

This roll of tape has been a mostly positive experience.Effective Sealing: This tape does its job! Used it on an old window that I was fixing up and re-sealing. It blocked drafts noticeably.Easy Installation: The self-adhesive backing is a breeze to use. Just peel and stick, and you're good to go. No mess, no fuss.

This tape was thinner than I expected, but it seems to stick well and worked where I needed it to. Helps block air gaps!

It is only 1/16th of an inch thick - the description doesn't mention thickness. But it's designed for windows and maybe that is as thick as it should be for that purpose, so I decided not to dock a point. Aside from that minor disappointment, I am really happy with this tape. The adhesive is very good for the product. When you are initially installing, it can be carefully re-positioned. But the bond is very strong. I used it to cushion a guitar stand where there was bare metal by cutting a narrow strip for extra padding on the very edge and using the rest of the width to cover the face as well as that narrow strip. This adhesive had no trouble sticking and is not pulling up...unlike a previous tape I had tried.
