I had some Smartthings sensors that I took with me when I moved into a new house. The issue was that I needed the double sided tape to affix them back onto the door again. I looked and saw these items for the Ring sensors and from eyeballing it, it looked to be about the same size of the Smartthings sensors. The package arrived today in a little compact plastic container. It contains both the sensor and magnet tape in the container. Installation was easy, I cleaned the surface first with some alcohol wipes, attached the adhesive to the sensor and magnet then to the door. So far so good and everything is holding well. So if you are like me and you are looking for something for Smartthings sensors, give this a shot.

These are genuine (appearing) 3M double sided adhesive mounting strips for Ring sensors. Thet are sticky like what came in the original package and are the right size with 2 holes in the right place.

The Uesgseizo replacement adhesives for the Ring Alarm 2nd generation contact sensors was exactly what I needed! This package arrived with thirty sets of double-sided tape pieces that are shaped for both the Ring sensor and magnet. If you are removing your Ring sensors and reaffixing in another home (or just have a sensor that loosened in your current home), then you will find this tape to be very helpful.

So this is a pretty straight forward item. Perhaps you had to paint the house or the door. Perhaps there’s a window or slider that gets used all the time. Whatever the reason is, that original ring sticker no longer is sticky. So first, you have to take the original ring sticker off the back of the sensor. If you don’t, not only could it lose its stick but it also won’t stick evenly, protruding at an awkward angle. Then, pull the first side and attach to the sensor. Then peel the rest and attach to the door or window. Super easy, functions as it should. 5 stars.
