It's easy to assemble and not that heavy, so it's a breeze to use. Plus, it can be adjusted in length, which makes it suitable for people of different heights. What an awesome product!

My lawn looks better than it has in a long time. Assembly takes a bit of time, so be sure to follow the instructions closely. It's built well and runs well. It handled uneven parts of my yard without any issues. I'm going to let a couple neighbors borrow it for their yards now. Awesome!

As a pretty handy person, I had some difficulty putting this together simply because the instructions just about lack instruction. There are a few pictures which confused me initially. The machine is fairly light which is nice to push but once the bag is full, the machine falls backwards which is annoying. The bag is pretty small. I did have a good amount of leaves and acorns on my lawn as seen in the pictures and I had to empty the bag every 15-20 seconds. I only used the dethatcher for this but this did take 30 minutes and it would have likely taken me 1-1.5 hours with a rake. It does blow leaves around in front and quite a bit out of the back which makes a mess. If you are only using it on a lawn no big deal. However, using it near the driveway was annoying because I had to blow the leaves back onto the lawn to get picked up after already going over it. I went over a large tree root and it made a loud, unhappy noise. It didn't break but I am afraid to go over roots again with it. Overall, the dethatcher works well although it is the first one I ever used so I have nothing to compare it to.

It works as it should. Used it to dethatch my lawn. I didn’t use the scarifier blade.Has plenty of power. Never once slowed the motor. Managing the extension cord came easily after developing a system. Wouldn’t want to use a corded lawn product every week, but once a year is no big deal. The quality and durability are great. Well engineered with easy folding handle for compact storage. My only suggestion is hire a college intern for about two hours, and have them write a much better instruction manual. The one that comes with it is terrible, and would be extremely frustrating to anyone without good mechanical skills and instincts. With a decent set of instructions, assembly would be quick and simple.

It works great for gathering leaves and collecting for compost bin. Its light weight and can be used in different lengths. Very easy to use and quite convenient tool.

Pretty straight forward metal rake that can take some abuse. Dropped it on my concrete driveway several times and even tossed it around as I was switching between collecting and bagging. Slightly pricier than what you can get at your local hardware store, but I needed something durable that will last for a long time as we get a ton of leaves here at our northeast home.

This unit has very powerful electric motor that will feel like its self-propelling and powerful enough to till the ground up to 4 inch deep without any performance issues.I had to do some trial to exactly understand my grass turf needs for thatching and scarifier depth.It has easy to operate top lever (1 to 4) for how deep you want the rotary heads to engage with the grass and dirt.Handle has dual start mechanism , you have hold the grip bar and then push start button to operate , this is to avoid any accidental starting1st step should be to mow your grass to shortest length you can before you start using this machine. This will allow you to get maximum benefit for this Dethatcher & Scarifier machine. You can also moist the soil a bit, which will make using this unit further easy and avoid any damage to your grass or top soil.I used bag attachments for some part , and for rest I didn’t . Piled up my cutting and thatching leftovers and ran mower on them. Becareful if you till the ground too deep as you will be removing lot of dirt from the lop layer and exposing it to more weeds.Becareful when using the scarifier attachment, as it can be too powerful when using on various grass type, keep checking your clipping coming out of the machine to be sure that it’s not ripping your grass and creating bald spots.I was able to switch between both attachments in 5 mins without any issues.This machine is very power, yet incredibly light and easy to maneuver on any grass type.So far utilizing this Dethatcher & Scarifier has been very beneficial for my 25 yrs old lawn, results have started to show now in Spring.
